Cousin Greg, meet WeWork.
Transcript
00:00I mean, I feel like I might not like it in the death pit.
00:05Go ahead.
00:09Succession star Nicholas Braun is attached to play WeWork founder Adam Neumann in a new TV series.
00:14The limited series will be based off the forthcoming book about WeWork from Wall Street Journal reporters
00:18Elliot Brown and Maureen Farrell. As part of the rights deal, the production companies producing the project
00:23are also prepping a documentary about the embattled company that is based on the duo's book,
00:28which will chronicle the rise and comedown of the nearly $50 billion startup.
00:32A network is not yet attached, though it would make sense for the as-yet-titled series to be taken to HBO.
00:37Given Braun's role on the premium cable network's breakout drama series Succession,
00:42Braun will also executive produce the project.
00:44Now this is the latest WeWork project in the works, a feature film about the embattled startup
00:48that is based on a different upcoming book, one from Fast Company reporter Katrina Brooker,
00:53is being fast-tracked via Jason Blum's Blumhouse Productions.
00:56As for Braun, the actor has been among the scene-stealers on HBO's breakout family drama Succession,
01:01playing the lovable but crafty cousin Greg.
01:04His credits include the features The Stanford Prison Experiment and How to Be Single.
01:08Braun next co-stars in the feature Zola, which will debut in January at the Sundance Film Festival.
