00:16Speaking of summer, The Summer I Turned Pretty, based on Jenny Han's best-selling novel of the same name,
00:21debuts on Amazon Prime Video on June 17th.

00:32Han, who is also the author of the To All the Boys I've Loved Before series, adapted the book for the screen and serves as showrunner.
00:39The Summer I Turned Pretty is a multi-generational story that centers on a love triangle between a girl named Belly and two brothers.
00:46The coming-of-age story touches on first loves, first heartbreaks, and the magic of a perfect summer.
00:51Over on Apple TV+, the limited series Blackbird flies onto the streaming service on July 8th.
00:57The six-episode drama, which is based on a true story, centers on Taron Egerton's character, Jimmy Keene,
01:02who's convicted of a crime and sentenced to 10 years in a minimum security prison.
01:07He's then given a choice by prosecutors, serve the full term without possibility of parole,
01:11or transfer to a maximum security facility for the criminally insane,
01:16and befriend a suspected serial killer in hopes of getting him to confess to more crimes.
01:20We would like you to transfer to another prison and befriend someone to elicit a confession.
01:27The series sees the late Ray Liotta play Big Jim Keene, Jimmy's father, marking one of his final roles.

02:48and sees Mark Ruffalo reprise his Marvel Cinematic Universe role of Bruce Banner, a.k.a. the Hulk.
