00:01Pressure is mounting on Leeds United head coach Daniel Farker.
00:05The Whites have won just once in their last six Premier League fixtures,
00:10the most recent of which being a 2-1 home loss against Aston Villa.
00:14Leeds had led in this game, but a British in the second half
00:19from Aston Villa forward Morgan Rodgers,
00:22so the Whites end up on the losing side.
00:25Farker, though, was encouraged by his side's performance
00:28despite Leeds coming away with nothing.
00:31Yes, especially because we returned back today to our performance,
00:36how we want to perform, to be ourselves, to be active, to be aggressive,
00:40to press height, to be there with a counter-pressing,
00:42to play aggressive football in possession.
00:45We were ourselves today fully deserved to be in Leeds at halftime.
00:50On this level, you have to make sure that you don't always have to score
00:53three or four goals to win points.
00:55And again, so to concede these two goals, again, we didn't give much away,
00:59but yes, it was a bit again over our left flank today,
01:03as good as we are offensive-wise, but we have conceded again two goals
01:06over our left flank.
01:08These two moments were decisive.
01:10First goal straight after the kick-off for the second half.
01:17Dead ball situation, free kick, and you have to be quicker switch on
01:20in order to defend the situation.
01:21Leeds may well have been aggressive, as Farker put it,
01:26and played like themselves, but on the day,
01:29it was not enough to defeat Aston Villa.
01:32Farker went on to deflect blame from goalkeeper Lucas Perry,
01:36who received some criticism for his role in Aston Villa's second goal,
01:41which came direct from a free kick from Rodgers.
01:44Perry was stood rooted to his spot
01:46as the ball nestled into the back of the net.
01:50Leeds then had a goal disallowed just moments later,
01:54but ultimately, Villa were able to hold on for the win,
01:58condemning Leeds to yet another loss this season in the Premier League.
02:03Following the final whistle,
02:05it was evident that supporters were starting
02:07to have concerns about Farker and his future.
02:11Nothing has changed as of yet, though.
