India has lodged a complaint after China detained an Indian citizen transiting through Shanghai's airport due to the listed birthplace on their passport being a disputed border region between the two countries. China's foreign ministry said the traveler had been treated "lawfully."

00:18China-India border. She was held for 18 hours and only released after Indian officials arrived at
00:24the airport. Chinese officials say Mrs. Dongdok was treated lawfully and that no detaining or
00:29harassment took place. Meanwhile, India's foreign ministry says China has yet to explain its actions
00:35and that Arunachal Pradesh is part of India.
