00:00All right, this one's going to be a very special, very happy London in the Locker Room.
00:04He's going to sing me happy birthday. He's going to sing me happy birthday. Go ahead.
00:06I can remix it. Happy birthday. What kind of cake we got here?
00:10We got red velvet and cheese cake. My favorites. My two favorites.
00:13All right, we still got weigh-ins coming in, so don't eat.
00:15Jameis got those canceled for us after Thanksgiving.
00:17Jameis, and that's what I came to you to talk about.
00:20The people's chant, bro. The people's chant.
00:21But before we talk about Jameis and that play, can you show us something in your locker that is a must-have?
00:28I mean, you don't have much in here.
00:29Yeah, let's see here. I'll go with the note from my wife and my son, who's nine months,
00:36who obviously didn't write it, but I always keep it with me.
00:38All right, all right. It's bigger than football, right?
00:40Yeah, sure, sure.
00:41All right. Happy birthday, man. Break down the play for us.
00:44Talk to us because everyone's giving Jameis the hype for the yak ability.
00:49As he should, as he should.
00:50But your mobility in the pocket should be praised. Can you please break it down for us?
00:55Shout-out, Motor. He got a piece of 34 Anzalone, just enough for me to be able to step up.
01:01Ain't how we practiced it, but, you know, when they called it, I think we were all real excited.
01:05I told Jameis, like, the ball was coming up.
01:06Like, so, it was a good play by him, good play by Motor, good play by me.
01:10Back in the day when, you know, back in my receiver days when they would introduce some sort of wide receiver pass,
01:16we would have to audition for it to show arm strength and accuracy.
01:20How did you get the job?
01:21Everybody else in the receiver room has got a noodle for an arm.
01:23It's just apparent when we're playing catch out there and stuff.
01:26So, I was a clear and obvious choice, but just by default.
01:29So, I appreciate them not throwing balls growing up, I guess.
01:33I'm going to give you your props, man, because every time you touch the ball, you get better.
01:37Every time you touch the ball, you make an impact.
01:38From the kick return, pump return you had, I believe, last year or was it two years ago to this preseason,
01:46I thought that you were one of the best route runners in the room.
01:49Sometimes you didn't get the ball.
01:51Do you want more on the offensive side of things?
01:55Sure.
01:55I mean, I think everybody does, but, you know, I know what my job is.
01:58You don't quit your day job to work your side job.
02:01I know what's kept me in the league and what I'm best at is returning punts and kicks.
02:05So, I try to focus on that and anything else that comes my way, I just try to stay ready for it.
02:11Yeah.
02:11Since Mike Kafka has taken over as interim head coach, you guys have put up around 900 total yards of offense.
02:19What's Kafka been like these two weeks?
02:21Great.
02:22I mean, he does a great job installing plays and making us really understand the why behind those plays,
02:27which I think is a big part.
02:28You can play even faster when you know we call this play.
02:31I know why I'm running this route or why I'm blocking this guy.
02:33So, I think the full understanding since he's taken over has really increased and the simplicity, too,
02:40at the same time, less plays, but being better at them.
02:43So, he's done a great job for us and we're playing hard for him.
02:46We just need to get a win.
02:48Coach Coughlin used to call those Ys.
02:49He used to tell us no and no, you know, and then no, the X's, the O's, and the Y's as well.
02:55So, I mean, you know, back in the day moment, but it's still full circle.
02:58Last but not least, man, like what's the vibe been like around this locker room?
03:02One, to try and, you know, get back into that W column and finish the season on.
03:06Yeah, I mean, the vibe has been down, as it should.
03:09Losing teams, I mean, I always explain losing is like being in the cold tub and winning is like being in the hot tub.
03:14It goes by a lot slower, you know, being in the cold tub.
03:17If you've ever been in a cold tub, you take two minutes a long time in a cold tub.
03:20That's kind of what it feels like.
03:21So, we're really, really fighting like hell to get his first win as our head coach.
03:25And hopefully we see it on Monday night.
03:28All right, man.
03:28Well, congratulations on the touchdown pass.
03:31Happy birthday, man, and keep leading from the front.
03:33Right on.
