00:03How did you land that amazing gig?
00:06I don't know. I'm asking myself that question.
00:10No, you know, I think Kenny and I have the same booking agent.
00:12And, you know, Kenny is really working so hard to put on such a special show for The Sphere.
00:17I think he really wants to make it unlike any other show he's ever done.
00:20And so for him to have a DJ, I think, is very different, but something he really wanted.
00:24And I'm just so honored that he picked me.
00:26I think he's going to put on an incredible show, I have no doubts.
00:29But I personally am working so hard to create a unique set just for The Sphere and just for Kenny Chesney fans.
00:36And it's going to be unlike any other show I've played.
00:39What's it like designing the experience that fans are going to see in The Sphere?
00:43Are you a part of that process?
00:44Yeah, you know, this is all things we're still figuring out.
00:48But that's what's so exciting about The Sphere is I'm going to get a chance to do things I don't normally get to do, right?
00:52Like visuals are why people go to The Sphere.
00:55Like you want the whole experience.
00:57And I think that what a cool opportunity to not only get to put together an incredible set of music and songs people love,
01:03but then be able to give them something sick to look at on this incredible screen.
01:07Like it's going to be so cool.
01:09So I can't give away anything yet, but it's going to be special and it's going to be amazing.
01:13And you guys got to get your tickets because there's not many left.
01:15We're here at the iHeartRadio Music Awards tonight.
01:18Who's an artist that you listened to on the radio growing up that made you want to work in music?
01:23Oh man, so many.
01:25The thing is I grew up listening to so many different types of music.
01:28Like obviously my dad is a country artist, so we listened to a lot of country, a lot of Shania, Dolly, Trisha Yearwood, Faith Hill, Waylon Jennings, Donnie Cash, all that good stuff.
01:38But then as I grew up, I started to listen to hip-hop and pop and rock music.
01:43And so I really have such an eclectic taste because I love it all.
01:46I've been asking people today about Rat Summer was last summer, but what kind of vibes are we manifesting for this summer?
01:52Man, I don't know.
01:55I don't know.
01:56For me personally, I'm going to go Beach Cowgirl Summer because Kenny's whole theme is beach and my whole theme is cowgirl.
02:05So I'm just going to mesh the two, and that's going to be my theme this year.
02:09I love that.
02:10And right now it's spring break time.
02:12What's your go-to vacation spot where you love to go when you do get a break?
02:15Oh my gosh.
02:17You know where I love?
02:18I went last year for the first time.
02:19I love Grand Cayman, the Caymans in the Caribbean.
02:22I live in Nashville, so it's an easy flight.
02:24The Caribbean's so beautiful.
02:26I would say if I had a week to get away, that's where I would go.
