00:00Hillary and Chelsea Clinton are developing their first scripted TV series.
00:04The duo, via their Hidden Light Productions banner, has acquired TV rights to best-selling author Gail Zemeck-Lemans' The Daughters of Kobani, a story of rebellion, courage, and justice.
00:15The novel is based on hundreds of hours of interviews and reporting about the all-female Kurdish militia who took on ISIS in northern Syria and won.
00:23A network for the potential series is not yet attached.
00:26The Clintons, alongside Sam Branson, launched Hidden Light Productions in December with a goal of creating documentary, unscripted, and scripted content for film, TV, and digital platforms.

00:52As for LeMond, the author is also behind 2015's Ashley's War, which is being adapted by Universal Pictures and Reese Witherspoon's company as a feature film.
