00:28run for president in 2020 during his Video Vanguard Award speech at the 2015 MTV VMAs.
00:33It is unclear if West has filed any paperwork necessary to run for president this election
00:38year, which would mean he'd likely have to run as a write-in candidate. The Hollywood Reporter
00:41has reached out for comment. This announcement came just days before the Small Business Administration
00:46disclosed on Monday that Kanye's Yeezy company received more than $2 million through the Paycheck
00:51Protection Program. Yeezy, an LLC formed by the musician and clothing designer, received a loan
00:56between $2 and $5 million, according to the SBA. The company disclosed that it saved 160 jobs
01:02because of the program meant to help businesses struggling during the novel coronavirus pandemic.
01:06A rep for West did not immediately reply to a request for comment concerning the PPP loan.
