00:00As an actor, I was craving something different.
00:04I was really yearning to work with a really great filmmaker,
00:09to have a very interesting, compelling story.
00:12I think that's the joy of filmmaking, right?
00:16You get to take people on a journey and make people feel things.
00:20It's just been such a joy.
00:30I love real stories about people, and though this was a bit of a fever dream,
00:39it was actually one of the most exhilarating experiences I've had.
00:43I think a lot of people can take away so much from this movie.
00:47It was so beautifully told.
00:49I think specifically my experience was so transformative and beautiful,
00:54and to be able to stand next to Carla is an honor of mine.
00:59It is a pleasure.
01:00She is one of the most incredible human beings I've ever met.
01:04I'm very strong, and I love her family.
01:07I think for me, I feel like I'm witnessing history,
01:11and I hope that this is just the beginning of opportunities for people like her.
01:15I know, as silly as it sounds, but I've learned so much from films that I've loved
01:21and grown up watching.
01:24I don't know.
01:25I feel like there's something for everyone.
01:29Music is, like, is my soul.
01:31It definitely is something I'm constantly thinking about,
01:35and even if it's just me singing along in the radio to the same five songs
01:40that I listen to over and over again,
01:42I think music is always going to be a part of who I am.
01:45And it was beautiful to be able to step into a totally different field of music
01:53because it has nothing to do with, like, my music,
01:55and it feels like it was raw and bare and challenging.
02:01It was very different than what I'm used to, for sure.
02:05God, it's going to be tough to beat,
02:06but I think my goal has always been to work with people that are like-minded
02:10that really, that are real storytellers.
02:15So I would much rather be in a movie, you know,
02:20and have a small part if it's a great story.
02:24I just like, I just really have missed acting a lot.
02:30Professionally, I am, I'm so excited and feel like it's just the beginning.
02:36So I can't even say I've worked with all the filmmakers I wanted to work with
02:40and all the actors that I'd love to work with,
02:43all the, all the different people I'm dying to meet,
02:47even people who are up and coming.
02:49I, I get so excited about the whole process of movie making or TV.
02:54And it's just been such a joy to spend more time in this world
02:58because I feel like I belong and it's a nice feeling.
03:02What makes me happy is living my life as authentically
03:07and as real as I possibly can.
03:10That means being in the grass and feeling it
03:14and watching, you know, my boyfriend garden because I can't do that.
03:19But it's like so beautiful to just stop and take in where you're at
03:24and be grateful and be humbled by it.
03:27And then what drives me is my passion and love for other people and for stories.
03:33So I love telling stories, however they look.
03:40I love telling stories, how that's interesting.
03:45Let's do some of my favorites.
03:47How that's interesting.
03:49My favorite story is my favorite story.
