Paul Rudd tells THR on the red carpet premiere for 'Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire' what it was like to work with OG's Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson. Plus, he dishes on driving the original Ecto-1 vehicle.

00:00Congratulations on this new film.

00:03What was it like working more closely with Bill, Dan, and Ernie,

00:06especially in this one having a more elevated role than in Afterlife?

00:11It was so great getting to work with them on this.

00:15It's so surreal, honestly.

00:19I've been watching Ghostbusters my whole life,

00:22and to be able to, you know, I'm such a fan of theirs and a fan of the film,

00:27so to kind of be a part of it is a thrill, a total thrill.

00:32I saw you had a pretty epic scene with the Ecto-1.

00:35What was that like, and was this the original car?

00:38Yeah, I think this was one of the originals.

00:41There's a few of them, but they're not easy to make,

00:46and so they keep them, and I think I'd heard that this might have been one

00:50from the first one that I got to drive.

00:53It was unreal. To be able to drive that thing was unbelievable.

00:58I know that I'm in a small group of people that can claim that.

01:05What an honor.

01:06No, it looked pretty epic.

01:08I also wanted to mention, I know you said that the training...

01:11By the way, a lot of that I wasn't driving in that scene where I'm going around the...

01:15No, you weren't.

01:16No, there's a lot of stuff that you have to do.

01:20It'd be tough to try and film some of that stuff on streets of New York,

01:24and they'd have a stunt person doing some of that,

01:27but some of it was on green screen too.

01:30But some of it wasn't, and I did get to actually drive it.

01:34Well, we'd like to pretend.

01:36I also wanted to mention, I know you said the training process for Ant-Man was pretty brutal at times.

01:41How does training for this compare?

01:44Well, it's not quite as intense.

01:49But those packs are heavy.

01:52After Quantumania, what are the odds that we're going to get another stand-alone Marvel movie from Ant-Man?

01:58I have no idea. I don't know.

02:03You'd have to go to Kevin Feige and those guys, I guess.

02:06And finally, I did want to say, as a die-hard Chiefs fan,

02:09how do you feel about all of the attention that Travis and Taylor have been bringing to the city and to the team?

02:14I think it's great.
