EU–African Union summit: Leaders commit to strengthening multilateralism

00:05This was the message of the seventh summit between the European Union and the African Union,
00:10which concluded on Tuesday in Rwanda.
00:13Participants particularly emphasized the need to achieve peace on all continents through multilateralism.
00:20There are no alternatives for the multilateral and international rules-based order.
00:28Because the alternative is simply the chaos.
00:32And we need to avoid the chaos.
00:34We need to uphold for the international order in Ukraine, in RDC, in Gaza, in Sudan, elsewhere.
00:43The two partners also welcome the progress made in implementing the global getaway.
00:48This 150 billion euros program to support African countries is intended to strengthen growth
00:54and accelerate climate and digital transitions.
