00:00TikTok gives you the power to turn down the AI.
00:04TikTok is rolling out a control to set how much AI-generated content appears in your For You feed.
00:11Think of it as a volume knob for synthetic creativity.
00:14Turn it down or crank it up for a futuristic talent show of neural networks.
00:19The new AIGC control lives inside the Manage Topics menu,
00:24where you already choose dance, sports, or food and drinks.
00:28According to the company, the AI slider isn't meant to banish content entirely,
00:33but to help users fine-tune the chaos.
00:36It's rolling out over the next few weeks,
00:39giving you time to decide whether AI TikToks spark joy or mild existential dread.
00:46This move lands as tech giants race into AI-only feeds.
00:51Meta launched Vibes in September, essentially reels with more robots,
00:56and OpenAI followed days later with Sora, built around AI-generated videos.
01:02Unsurprisingly, TikTok has been flooded with ultra-realistic AI clips,
01:08from Hollywood-style mini-movies to suspiciously perfect celebrity histories.
01:13If you want control, go to Settings, then Content Preferences, then Manage Topics,
01:18and toggle the slider for AI-generated content.
01:22It already uses C2PA's content credentials to mark AI-generated content.
01:28But labels can vanish when videos are downloaded, re-edited,
01:32or tossed around the internet, like digital confetti.
01:36Invisible watermarks, readable only by TikTok,
01:39will stick around even if a video gets the remix treatment.
01:42The company will embed these marks in content made with its AI tools,
01:47like AI Editor Pro,
01:49and in uploads that contain C2PA credentials.
01:54And to cut through confusion,
01:56TikTok is launching a $2 million AI literacy fund
02:00to help groups like Girls Who Code
02:02teach people how not to be fooled by a hyper-realistic,
02:06entirely fake raccoon-making pasta.
02:12The company will now be fooled by a lot of people.
02:14So you can see that they can use the text and leave.
02:16So you can use this as an example of a bunch of animals,
02:18like it's a type of a tool,
02:19and you can use it as a type of a tool.
02:20And just look at Q1PA.
02:22As an example,
02:24I at least a video,
02:24I'm going to show you where you can use it.
02:25It's a link to the index.

02:36I will show you how to do.
02:37And I go to the next video.
02:39I'm going to show you how to make it.
02:40And I'm going to show you how to make it easy and
