ABC's broadcast up by more than 10 percent from 2018's all-time low.

00:00The ratings are in, and it's good news for the 2019 Oscars. The 91st Academy Awards delivered
00:10double-digit gains in Sunday's ratings, bouncing back from last year's record lows.
00:15ABC's broadcast of the ceremony averaged 29.6 million viewers, an 11.5 percent gain over a year ago.
00:22The hostless show also scored a 7.7 rating among adults 18-49, which marks a 13 percent gain
00:28versus last year. However, on the glass-half-empty side of things, Sunday's ratings are still
00:33the second smallest on record for the Oscars, but they're better than last year.
00:37Black Panther and Bohemian Rhapsody, the two biggest box office, draws among the Best Picture nominees.
00:42Each won multiple Oscars, with Rami Malek winning Best Actor.
00:46And my cast, I love you. You are my equals, you are my betters. I could have never been here without you.
00:55But Green Book took home the night's top honor of Best Picture.
