00:00In the meantime, the Department of Energy released the notice of auction in terms of reference for the fifth green energy auction,

00:07marking the country's first competitive bidding for fixed-bottom offshore wind projects.

00:12A total of 3,300 MW will be offered for delivery from 2028 to 2030.

00:19The TOR outlines project requirements, timelines, port access rules, and evaluation procedures to guide developers.

00:26Energy Secretary Sharon Garin said the auction moves offshore wind from potential to reality

00:33and positions the Philippines for global clean energy investment.

00:37The DOE is coordinating with the NGCP, Transco, and the PPA to align grid and port infrastructure with project milestones.
