00:00Under the Department of Transportation, the Office for Transportation Security, or OTS, is continuously preparing for the Christmas season.

00:08DOTR OTS Administrator Gilbert Cruz says that the OTS has ongoing audit operations in airports and seaports to ensure readiness,

00:17also ensuring all equipment are in good condition and personnel are ready to implement security protocol.

00:22The agency also strengthened their information campaign on prohibited items in airports and seaports.

00:28The OTS is also training additional personnel to be deployed in screening areas and x-ray machines.
