00:15Joanne and Noah. The Netflix show became a breakout hit for the streamer when it debuted

00:19in September 2024. The series was quickly renewed two weeks after Season 1 was released.

00:25The Hollywood Reporter spoke to cast member Jackie Tone about the new season.

00:28At the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party last weekend.

00:33Have you seen any scripts yet for Season 2 of Nobody Wants This?

00:36Have I ever. I have seen We've Table Read through 5. And it's so, so exciting and so funny.

00:46And I think it delivers. I mean, listen, we love this show. We're so excited to be making it. We're pumped.

00:52A handful of guest stars have joined the cast for Season 2, including Brody's real-life wife,

00:56actress Leighton Meester. Brody opened up about the casting to THR at the SAG Awards last month.

01:02How did that come about and did you have any hesitations about working together on this show?

01:06No, we always work together. It's baked into our contracts. And how did it come about? I don't know.

01:12They're big fans of hers and she's a big fan of the show. And so let's just, yeah, let's consecrate it. Yeah.
