00:11new interview, ALS is a nasty disease, so I was in the hospital during the Emmys getting stitches
00:16put in my head. The actor went on to say that he was disappointed to miss the special tribute.
00:21He said, I missed an opportunity I was really looking forward to. It would have been great
00:25to see Jesse Williams and get reunited with some of my peers and to be able to present in front of
00:31my colleagues. I thought would have been a special moment, so I was really upset about it, but you
00:35know, there was nothing I could do about it. Dane and Williams were supposed to jointly present the
00:39Emmy for drama series director and celebrate the ABC medical drama, which made its debut in March of
