00:28as Lou Gehrig's disease is a nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain
00:33and spinal cord. ALS causes loss of muscle control, with the disease devastatingly getting worse over
00:39time. As of today, there has yet to be a cure for the disease. While Dane didn't share many details
00:44surrounding his diagnosis, the actor who currently stars on Euphoria as the Jacobs family patriarch,
00:50Cal Jacobs, also told People he's returning to set next week to continue filming season three of the
00:55hit HBO show. I feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to
01:01returning to set of Euphoria next week. I kindly ask that you give my family and I privacy during
