07:53But when I got there, my son was a big fan of Jose.

07:57He manned up with Feli. He was able to go to the coroner.

08:15He's only 23, 24 years old but he manned up.

08:28I was leaving. I had the ashes of Eman on the aeroplano.

08:33And I was able to come home with the family, with Eman already.

08:37Okay, so that's the reason why you went abroad.

08:40It was not like after the wake, you traveled?

08:43No, no. It was really for Eman.

08:45It was really for Eman.

08:47And my son came back to America because they were studying there.

08:50So Jose and Eliana were able to go back to the States.

08:53But because Jose had a Thanksgiving break, Jose is back in Manila.

08:57Right.

08:58He'll be here for two weeks.

08:59Eliana is there in Pennsylvania.

09:01And we'll see her on Pascua.

09:03Then, learnings, realizations, nothing.

09:08I am so thankful that I have the Lord, boy.

09:14I'm so thankful that I discovered Jesus Christ early on in 2013.

09:18Because if not for the Lord, there's nothing else to hold on to now.

09:25The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

09:28And I've never been as broken as I am now.

09:31I've never been as heartbroken as I am now.

09:33Yet, despite the pain and despite the grief, I have peace.

09:37I have peace that God or Jesus Christ is walking with me.

09:42And I know that nothing is an accident.

09:45This is all for a good purpose.

09:46It may be painful now.

09:48It may hurt me now.

09:49But I know this is for good.

09:51That Eman did not die in vain.

09:53Her death was not beautiful.

09:56Yet, this will turn out beautiful.

09:58I know.

09:59And that gives me hope.

10:00And assuming that I'm in pain, what's 30 years of my life?

10:05In 30 years, I'm going to be with Eman and the Lord forever.

10:10So, I'm looking at that.

10:10And that gives me hope.

10:12And it gives me peace, boy.

10:13And having said that, only if you want.

10:18Would you like to share that story?

10:20That because there are all reasons.

10:24You know, the story of the girl, is that something that you can share or not?

10:29There are a lot of reasons.

10:30There is one that I want to share that I don't know yet.

10:34I was praying on the second day of Eman's death.

10:36I said, Lord, I hope that Eman's death is not in vain.

10:40I hope there is a reason for this.

10:41And I got all these letters.

10:43Eman was reaching out to all these people on TikTok.

10:46Whenever Eman has become the icon of those who are mentally ill or bipolar.

10:53And despite her pain and despite the suffering of my son,

10:56She was calling all these people.

10:57She was calling her.

10:58She was calling her.

10:59I got a message from international.

11:05This one's from Asia.

11:08I'm not going to mention it because it's personal.

11:10Let me read.

11:12I'd like to express my profound condolences for the loss of Eman.

11:15She was one of the brightest people I knew and she was extremely inspirational.

11:19Ever since we met, we've been very open with each other about mental health.

11:22Even up to this year, I myself struggled with my own battles.

11:27And on the day that she passed, I attempted to take my life.

11:30I don't know why I am the only one who's still here.

11:34I'm endlessly sorry for that.

11:36But I hope it brings you some kind of solace.

11:38I will continue to live in honor of Eman.

11:43This is only one letter, boy.

11:44I got many of these.

11:45Yes.

11:45I even saw someone on the wake.

11:49I thought that Eman was a classmate of Eman.

11:50I laughed.

11:51Then I said, are you a classmate of Eman?

11:54They're late now.

11:55I know the story.

11:58And then it turned out, I'm a fan of Eman.

12:02And I found out through the mom that she's bipolar.

12:05So, there were a lot of things.

12:08I only went there because I am also sure that it's not in vain.

15:19But she was telling all her friends how much she loved me and how much, how good a father I was.

15:30When I first met Eman in person, we started talking about mental health and the various times we had during our childhood.

15:40She explained much about her growing up and what her life was like.

15:44She got into the experiences you gave, talking about going to your races.

15:47And she thought it was so cool that someone could do that, my triathlon, wanting even to become an athlete herself.

15:53She explained to me she had many struggles, including after her first attempt when she was hospitalized.

15:59She talked about how one of the reasons she thought it was going to be okay was you coming in and reading to her.

16:05I was reading the Bible to her.

16:06She reminisced on those points at her weakest, how she felt that sense of her family that really loved her.

16:13And many other letters like this.

16:15I've been getting this after she died.

16:17They stay with us, kid.

16:19Yeah.

16:20She's probably just eavesdropping on the conversation of Dad and Tito Boy.

16:25What would you tell her now?

16:27Well, I miss her.

16:28I miss Emma terribly.

16:30Every single day, I miss her.
