00:26A mysterious criminal.
00:55A criminal who calls himself the Eagle is plotting against the directors of an airplane factory, whom he has tried to frighten with warnings written on the sky in smoke and fire. The directors have reason to suspect that the Eagle is Nathan Gregory, owner of a small carnival show, who has accused them of stealing from him an invention that is worth a fortune.
01:21Craig McCoy, stunt flyer with the carnival, is working to clear Gregory, and his actions interfere with the Eagle's plans.
01:30Agents of the Eagle, by a clever frame-up, brand Craig as the mysterious skywriter.
01:36And Gregory's daughter, Jean, believing that Craig has betrayed her father, ores the carnival workers to execute the judgment of the carnival upon him.
01:47Take him outside.
02:06We may be mistaken, Jean.
02:27How can we better stop them before it's too late?
02:30He's guilty.
02:31Let them peg him off.

05:13It's worked! They're gone!
05:19And the cop jumped in his car and went after Billy.
05:22I ducked in here.
05:25I'm not sure how to do it.
05:27I'm not sure how to do it.
05:30I'm not sure how to do it.
05:32I ducked in here.
05:35Daddy!
05:40That was a clever trick you pulled, Jean.
05:42It worked, didn't it?
05:44Yes, but it had me scared for a while.
05:46I thought it was on the square.
05:51Look!
05:59Here's the one who framed me,
06:01and he's working with the Eagle.
06:03And...
06:04Beat it, quick!
06:05The cop's come back, and he's headed this way!
06:08Oh, hide somewhere!
06:09Here, out here, quick!
06:10Go!
06:11Go on.
06:18Hey, listen.
06:19If that cop comes back in here,
06:21you get rid of him, or...
06:32Have you seen Gregory?
06:33No.
06:36Say, what are you hanging around here for?
06:44I have to stay here.
06:45What do you mean you have to?
06:46I'm a private detective.
06:47Hired to...
06:48Watch Gregory.
06:49I've got to stay here,
06:50and pick up his trail.
06:51Good.
06:52You stay here, and nab him if he shows up.
06:54I'll go over and watch that airplane.
06:55The Skyrider will be back for it sooner or later.
06:56Okay.
06:57That was good work, Henry.
06:58Aw, that was nothing at all, Skipper.
07:01If he'd have squawked, I sure would have plugged him.
07:05Don't look out.
07:06Ah!
07:07The Skyrider will be back for it sooner or later.
07:08Okay.
07:10You stay here, and nab him if he shows up.
07:12I'll go over and watch that airplane.
07:13The Skyrider will be back for it sooner or later.
07:15That was good work, Henry.
07:17Oh, that was nothing at all, Skipper.
07:20If he'd have squawked, I sure would have plugged him.
07:26Why, you!
07:32Well, I'm glad you didn't kill him.
07:34He's of more value to us alive than dead.
07:37He can tell us who the eagle is.
07:39I'm telling nothing.
07:41Come on down.
07:43Who is the eagle?
07:45I don't know.
07:47Come on, Gardner. You can't get away with that bluff.
07:49I'll say he can't.
07:51No, not that way.
07:53Oh, let me break him a little.
07:55No, let him go.
07:59He'll talk before he gets out of here.
08:13Hello.
08:15Better get that plane out of the way before the cops find it.
08:43He'll be grands Желинец, but he has a big gun.
08:45He's a small group.
08:46There's a big gun in the middle.
08:49I don't close the race.
08:51OK.
08:52We'll never get out of here.
08:53Good evide him.
08:54More things.

09:09No problem.
09:10Cutting corners.
09:11Not guilty.
09:13Reckless driving, Ann.
09:15What's this?
09:17Resisting an officer?
09:20Who, me?
09:25Guilty as charged.
09:29Getting rough with the police department is a very serious offense, young man.
09:34This will cost you $10.
09:36It's worth twice as much to get a smack at that big heart.
09:45By the way, you have a friend of mine here named Pat Kelly.
09:49How's the chance of paying him a visit?
09:52Kelly? The guy that killed Clark?
09:55The guy you think killed Clark.
09:58Well, I guess you can see him.
10:01Take him out, darling.
10:03Hey, Scrant.
10:04Scrant.
10:05I'm no cripple.
10:09Lead the way.
10:22Hello, Kelly.
10:24Gee, it's good to see you, big boy.
10:26How's everything about the carnival?
10:27Everything's okay.
10:28And, old boy, are you a hero.
10:30Who, me?
10:32You've taken a rap for killing Clark so Craig could be loose to investigate.
10:36Sure has made you stand a high.
10:38Ah, gee, Billy.
10:40Any of us would give his right arm for the skipper.
10:46What's the matter, Callahan?
10:47You look as if you've seen a ghost.
10:49I think I did.
10:51Did any of you ever hear of a plane flying without a... a pilot?
10:53Why?
10:54The government's experimenting with radio-controlled planes.
10:55Radio.
10:57That's it.
10:59Listen.
11:00There were a lot of gadgets in the cockpit.
11:01So you think Gardner was in on the killing, do you?
11:02Yes, Gardner and two other guys.
11:03Who were they?
11:04I don't know.
11:05I've never seen them before.
11:06One wore a crush hat, and the tall guy had on a light cap.
11:07Hmm.
11:08That sounds like more and boil.
11:10Can you prove it on them?
11:11Well, knowing it and being able to prove it is two different things.
11:14This sounds like a hot lead.
11:16I've got to get busy.
11:17Go on, Kelly.
11:18I'll be safe.
11:19You should be safe to be safe.
11:21I've got to get to see.
11:22I'll be safe.
11:23You should be safe.
11:24I'm safe to be safe.
11:26You're safe, Mr. I'll be safe.
11:28But I'll be safe.
11:29You're safe.
11:30You are safe.
11:32I'll be safe.
11:33Well, you are safe.
11:34You're safe to be safe.
11:35If Callahan ain't dreaming, those sky messages are being written by a radio-controlled plane.
11:40I don't know anything about radio, but I've seen that plane fly without a pilot.
11:45It's up to us to find out where it's operated from.
11:48Well, it's not from the carnival grounds. I've been over that with a fine-toothed comb.
11:53It's no use. We can't get anything out of it.
11:57Hello? Yes?
11:59This is Billy. I've got some big news for you.
12:02What? Radio?
12:05More and boil, too, eh?
12:08Well, it's not from the carnival grounds. I've been over that with a fine-toothed comb.
12:14It's no use. We can't get anything out of it.
12:17Hello? Yes?
12:19This is Billy. I've got some big news for you.
12:22More and boil, too, eh?
12:24Well, that's great work, Billy.
12:27Well, I guess you won't have to talk now unless you want to.
12:30Little Billy's found out plenty about your gang.
12:33There is one thing you can do for us.
12:36Call More and boil.
12:41Wouldn't I be a pricep to do any cloning for you?
12:47So you won't do it, eh?
12:49Of course I won't do it.
12:51Perfect.
12:52Call him up.
12:53Well, I wonder what's keeping guard.
12:54Well, I wonder what's keeping guard.
12:56Hello. This is Boyle.
12:57You don't have to be a pricep, my dear.
12:58Listen to this.
12:59Wouldn't I be a pricep to do any cloning for you?
13:03Of course I won't do it.
13:04Perfect.
13:05Call him up.
13:06Well, I wonder what's keeping guard.
13:07Hello. This is Boyle.
13:09It's Gardner.
13:10I got pretty badly banged up.
13:11But I've got some important information.
13:12What is it?
13:13Okay, we'll wait.
13:14He's been hurt.
13:15Hurt?
13:16He's been hurt.
13:17He's been hurt.
13:18He's been hurt.
13:19He's been hurt.
13:20He's been hurt.
13:21He's been hurt.
13:22He's been hurt.
13:23He's been hurt.
13:24He's been hurt.
13:25I'll tell you about it.
13:26He's been hurt.
13:27I'll tell you about it.
13:28Come on.
13:29God, let me go.
13:30We'll take a look down 3, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3.
13:31We'll take a look.
13:32We'll take a look down 2, 3.
13:33It's Gardner.
13:34I got pretty badly banged up.
13:35I got pretty badly banged up,
13:36but I've got some important information.
13:37What is it?
13:38Okay.
13:39We'll wait.
13:40He's been hurt.
13:41Hurt?
13:42He was afraid to talk over the phone,
13:43but he's on his way here.
13:44It's himself, all right.
13:45Great.
13:46Get the first aid kit.
13:47Will you please, G?
13:48All right, Gardner.
13:49Off with the coat.
13:55You two birds, wait in there.
13:57I want to talk to these fellows alone.
14:07But what happened?
14:09I was trying to make a getaway with Gregory
14:11when the carnival crowd jumped me.
14:15Well, they sure wrecked you.
14:17I'm lucky to be alive.
14:19That confounded ventriloquist
14:21tried to shoot me.
14:23Well, how did you get away?
14:25Never mind that.
14:27We've got to get busy.
14:29McCoy knows that you two were in on the shooting of Clark.
14:31You mean he knows who fired the shot?
14:33I think so.
14:37Then we've got to stop McCoy.
14:39We better phone the Eagle.
14:41He may have a better plan.
14:47You do it.
14:49Hello.
14:55This is Boyle.
14:57Who?
15:01Why, it can't be.
15:03Never mind. Go ahead.
15:05I'm a prisoner at the carnival.
15:07Gregory is still here.
15:09Yeah, I get it.
15:11Give me the police station.
15:13Hello, police.
15:15You'll find Gregory at his carnival.
15:17Yeah, I'm positive he's there.
15:19And the show people are holding a prisoner.
15:21A Mr. Gardner.
15:23Hold him.
15:25Sit down.
15:27Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

15:35Sit down.
15:45Take off his phony bandages.
15:59Hold him, Moore.
16:11Come on, let's get out of here, Henry.
16:29Come on, gentlemen.
16:45Out the bar, Chief, Henry.
16:47Just a minute, you.
16:49Back inside.
16:51No, you don't.
16:57Down there, you.
16:59Down there, you.
17:01Down there, you.
17:03Come on, please.
17:07Try the other door.
17:17Break the chair.
17:29They went down the fire escape.
17:31We can beat them by the stairs.
17:59Step on it, Craig. Step on it.
18:01We're not gaining on them.
18:03Take a shot if you're tired.
18:13Oh, my God!
18:15Oh, my God!
18:17Oh, my God!
18:23Oh, my God!
