Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper says she welcomes the progress in Ukraine talks which have been "so important". Ms Cooper added that there is "still a lot of intensive work to do". 00:00We've always been clear that the future of Ukraine, those are matters for Ukraine itself.

00:06We support the just and lasting peace, that means sovereignty for Ukraine.

00:10It also means security, not just for Ukraine, but security for Europe as well,

00:16because that is what we have seen threatened throughout this war

00:20and throughout the way that Russia's aggression has been pursued.

00:24And that's why, really, these talks have been so important.

00:27It's why we welcome the work that's been taking place in Geneva,

00:30but why all of us recognise that there is still a lot of intensive work to do

00:35and we will continue to support that process.
