00:00Taylor Swift closed out the first U.S. leg of her massive The Eras Tour in Los Angeles on Wednesday after performing six sold-out shows at SoFi Stadium.
00:14This has been the most extraordinary, fun, wonderful, magical experience of my entire life, being on this tour.
00:22As the superstar singer-songwriter gets ready to play the tour's international dates, before circling back to North America in late 2024,
00:30we're reminiscing on some of the most memorable moments from the first leg of The Eras Tour.
00:39Taylor kicked off the highly anticipated tour back in March in Glendale, Arizona.
00:44At her first Nashville stop on May 5th, she announced that the re-release of her album Speak Now, titled Speak Now, Taylor's version, would drop on July 7th,
00:52before playing the Speak Now track Sparks Fly as the night's first surprise song.
00:57What's a surprise song, you ask?
00:58As Swifties know, Taylor performs two surprise songs at every show that are unique to that tour stop.
01:09Highlights have included Hits Different, Death By A Thousand Cuts, You Are In Love, and many more.
01:14I'm in love, true love.
01:19On the same day, Taylor released the extended Till Dawn edition of her album Midnights, which included a remix of her song Karma, featuring Ice Spice.
01:27The antihero singer brought the rapper out on stage at her first New Jersey stop at MetLife Stadium.
01:32Ice Spice joined Taylor on stage to perform her verse and close out the show for three nights in a row at the end of May.
01:38Other special guests who have joined Taylor on stage throughout the first leg of the tour include tour opener Phoebe Bridgers for Nothing New,
01:45fellow tour opener the band Haim for No Body No Crime,
01:49and Taylor's folklore and Evermore collaborator Erin Dessner, just to name a few.
01:53Meanwhile, when Taylor dropped Speak Now, Taylor's version on July 7th,
01:56she turned that night's show in Kansas City into a massive album release party,
02:00and premiered a music video for one of the albums from the vault tracks, I Can See You.
02:05She even brought the music video stars Taylor Lautner, Joey King, and Presley Cash,
02:09who each have a special connection to her Speak Now era, out on stage with her.
02:13That same night, Taylor added the fan favorite Speak Now track Long Live to the Eris Tour setlist.
02:21And on the last night of the first US leg of the tour, Taylor revealed that her next album re-release,
02:251989 Taylor's version, will be available on October 27th.
02:29There's something that I've been planning for a really, really, really ridiculous and embarrassing long time.
02:37And I think instead of just, like, telling you about it, I think I'll just sort of show you.
02:45Throughout the show, the singer teased the announcement by wearing several never-before-seen blue outfits,
02:50debuting new looks in the signature 1989 hue during the 1989, Speak Now, and folklore portions of the show.
02:57Following the announcement, the crowd at SoFi Stadium was treated to the 1989 track
03:02New Romantics as the night's first surprise song on guitar.
