00:00Talk to me about booking this role and working with Tina and the entire cast on this, because this is an iconic film.
00:06I know, I couldn't believe it when I got that email, but I'm so fortunate that it led me to this place right here.
00:13I'm so excited for everyone to see the movie. I hope they love it.
00:16What was the musical prep like and also all those dance rehearsals?
00:20There were a few dance rehearsals. I did a lot of singing training.
00:24It was also really helpful in the room.
00:26While we were recording, Renee came in and helped me, which was amazing and so kind of her to do.
00:31So, yeah, there was a lot of prep work that went into it.
00:34Did you get to talk to any of the original Mean Girls, girls like Lindsay or any of them?
00:39Because I know a lot of them reunited recently for a commercial.
00:42They did? Yes, I saw that.
00:44Well, I was so excited because Tina's a part of this movie. It's her project.
00:48So when I signed on, I was just like asking her questions about what it was like in 2004,
00:54what, you know, what memories she had. So that was really nice to sort of hear stories from her.
01:00And obviously the original film is so iconic.
01:03Do you have a favorite Burn Book Burn from the original film?
01:11Some of them are a bit rude. I don't know if I can say them.
01:14Maybe we can bleep it up.
01:15My favorite one, which is in our movie, which is actually sung, is This Girl is a Fugly Cow.
01:24I think that's hilarious.
01:26And the way that Renee sings it is just gorgeous.
01:30I love it. Well, I love how everyone's just been ready for this movie musical.
01:33Is there another iconic 2000s comedy or movie that you would love to see turn into a musical next?
01:40I mean, I love 10 Things I Hate About You.
01:43I think that would be stunning. Right?
01:46Yeah.
01:47So many to choose from, too.
01:49Yeah. I would be in it.
01:50Cast me in another one, please.
01:51I want to do more.
01:52I want to do more.
