A woman was left embarrassed at her swollen lips – claiming she looked like a ‘90s adult film star on a budget’.
The exaggerated blown-up look occurred after having her lip filler dissolved – sparking a dramatic reaction.
Julie Rose, 35, was left in a panicked state as she anxiously waited to pick her son up from school, remaining cautious nobody saw the state of her lips.
The cosmetic disaster fortunately didn’t linger for Julie who soon saw the reaction fade five hours later as her lips changed to a shrivelled state.
Regardless of the initial reaction, the hair salon owner had no regrets as she stated that having her lips dissolved was ‘so worth it’ as she beamed with excitement at the thought of removing her two-year-old lip filler.
However, Julie already has plans for new lip filler with the aim of having a more natural appearing lip.
After posting her reaction online, Julie was met with critics who had little sympathy for her cosmetic reaction, despite Julie remaining adamant she doesn’t care for the opinions.
According to Julie, people have told her that she is embarrassing her son and that she has to face the repercussions of her actions.
Residing in Perth, Western Australia, Australia, Julie said: “Just when I thought it couldn’t get worse, it got worse. I’m not at the front of my son’s high school praying nobody sees me.
“The swelling was so worth it because I’m so excited for all this filler to be gone and then get new filler so I can just have a nice natural looking enhanced lip, instead of a duck.
“I actually don’t care. What I care about is you guys just assuming something and it’s not the case. I haven’t had lip filler done for like two years.
“It’s still in my lips and I wanted it gone, so I got them dissolved. The dissolver that went into my lip made my lips swell out about five times the size for about five hours.
“It was a little reaction because I wanted to get rid of the filler that was in there from years ago.”
