The video, filmed by Okonkwo Maryann from Nigeria shows the 27-year-old recording herself as she tries to understand what happened to her lips, which appear visibly enlarged and uncomfortable. Over the following days, she continues documenting the healing process, explaining and showing that she's in pain. Within a week, she decides to get a friend to squeeze the lump and, to her surprise, a maggot comes squirming out. Within a few days she was completely healed and her lips returned to normal. The clip was shared on Instagram. One user commented: “A bot fly probably landed on your lip during the night.” ENDS
