00:11Hugh Jackman had us scared for a bit.

00:16Even though his last Wolverine film became the second highest grossing X-Men film of all time,

00:22bringing in, oh, you know, $413 million worldwide,

00:25Jackman hinted that he may leave the franchise, telling reporters in September,

00:31great parts always outgrow the actors that play them.

00:33If you forget that, it's at your own peril.

00:36It would have to be very compelling for me to do it again.

00:39It's an honor to meet the Wolverine.

00:42That's not who I am anymore.

00:44Well, now Deadline reports that the hunky actor will star in a third standalone Wolverine film,

00:49which would also bring back this year's The Wolverine director, James Mangold.

00:54What kind of monster are you?

00:57The Wolverine.

00:58The film would mark Jackman's eighth time playing the tortured superhero,

01:02which includes appearances in several X-Men films.

01:05It's no surprise that fans can't get enough of Hugh Jackman's beefed up butt-kicking Wolverine,

01:10because, duh, it's Hugh Jackman.

01:11Who doesn't love that guy?

01:13Of course, the actor himself is more skeptical of his appeal,

01:16telling reporters at this year's Stan Sebastian Film Festival,

01:19No one was looking at me when I was 16, thinking of me as the sexiest man alive.

01:25Why doesn't it come when you need it?

01:27When you're 20, 21?

01:29Not when you've been married for 15 years and you wake up in the morning and say,

01:32hey baby, and she says, take out the garbage.

01:36Well, we won't see the next Wolverine film anytime soon.
