00:00Firstly, I want to reiterate that the number one mission of this government is and remains economic growth.

00:08Secondly, I want to acknowledge to a roomful of people who deliver that growth that this government gets where it comes from.

00:17Economic growth is a whole government enterprise.

00:20You can't have growth if goods aren't flowing freely to, from and within our economy.

00:25You can't have growth if people aren't getting to work on time, if people don't feel fit, healthy and ready to work.

00:34And I mean ready in every sense.

00:36I mean they've also got to have the education, the skills they need to do the job and to do that job well.

00:43All of that is the government's responsibility.

00:47Getting transport right, getting healthcare right, getting skills and education right.

00:51These are the foundations upon which growth is delivered.
