00:00Britain is a growing economy where we are getting the basics right and we are fixing

00:06the foundations of the period of chaos and instability that went before.

00:10People want and desire more into the future.

00:13That means it puts a lot of pressure on these moments where we have a budget and we have

00:17other sort of fiscal periods throughout the year.

00:20We understand that.

00:21When we have the budget in two days' time, you will see us focused on the challenges

00:26of the cost of living.

00:27You will see us focused on protecting the NHS and you will also see us focused on those

00:32things which are holding our country back like the enormous scale of the national debt that

00:36we inherited from the previous government.

00:38You will see us focusing on these things and only when we can tackle those so we can get

00:42growth into the economy can we all as a country start to be more excited and feel the benefits

00:48of the economic growth that we will deliver into the future.
