01:21He was 89-year-old, seen as the he-man of Indian cinema, often called the Veeru as the role he played in Shole.
01:30Shole has left behind not just a filmography of 300 films, but an unfillable void in the heart of the nation.
01:40If it was the rugged hills of Shole that we saw him, then he played the role in that comedy which was called Chupke Chupke.
01:49Then there was romance in Phool or Pathar and also Dharamweer.
01:55So he transcended genres, generations and geographies.
02:00His journey reflected the aspirations and also of changing India.
02:06He was seen as one of the most good-looking actors of Indian cinema.
02:10Extremely handsome, humble and heartfelt at the same time.
02:13He is survived by his family and sons and daughters.
