00:00In China, flight tests are progressing for the new prototypes from the flying taxi company Ehegan,
00:07an aircraft that aims to transform the world of deliveries with risk, professions and even transportation.
00:16Let's see more details.
00:21China is once again leading the race for modernization and global advancement,
00:26now with a new project from Flying Taxi Company, Aang.
00:30The oval-shaped EVTOL aircraft, certified for passenger transport, reaches 130 km per hour with a range of 30 km.
00:41The project represents the ambition of the People's Republic of China to integrate flying taxis into everyday urban life.
00:56Take-off and landing points can be scattered across the city.
01:08For example, when we return to our residential community, there could be a landing pad next to our parking space.
01:14Our rooftops could be equipped with the necessary conditions for take-offs and landings.
01:18Places like supermarkets, hospitals, schools and parks along the streets could all have take-off and landing points.
01:26Once such a network of take-off and landing sites is established, we will be able to have urban air mobility.
01:31We can connect the isolated points into lines and then form a large and regular network of urban air routes within a 30 km radius around the city.
01:39Currently, the country's low-altitude economy uses manned and unmanned aircraft below 1,000 meters for firefighting, inspections, deliveries, and ultimately passenger transport.
01:59Eidhang promises aircraft that can assist various protection and rescue agencies, a model capable of accessing more difficult-to-reach areas, and with greater autonomous control than helicopters.
02:15Aircraft development follows a path with real commercial value and a complete business cycle.
02:20It cannot be merely about research and development, nor can it be a toy for engineers.
02:24It should become a true consumer product, something every consumer can use and experience.
02:30In the future, we hope that aircrafts will become as accessible and common as cars.
02:41The Guangzhou state plans flight services, stations, and tourist vouchers to accelerate adoption.
02:48National efforts aim to transform low-altitude airspace into a major driver not only of economic growth, but also of a significant improvement in the quality of life for all citizens.
03:05Experts warn that the promising project faces a number of challenges, safety, regulations, infrastructure, and affordability.
03:13Success depends on going beyond research and creating products that are accessible to consumers, which Tianxing says is the Hang's top priority.
