My Oasis" is a love song dedicated to Huntington Village in Long Island, NY — the place that has always been my sanctuary. As a child, I spent weekends there at my parents’ ceramic store, surrounded by creativity and community. Years later, I introduced my wife to the village, and one of my most cherished memories is serenading her in Heckscher Park when we were dating. Today, Huntington remains my refuge — a place I return to whenever I need peace, inspiration, or a touch of zen. This song is both a tribute to the memories that shaped me and a celebration of the timeless beauty of my favorite place on earth.

00:01In my thoughts the streets are still the same
00:07But people tell me that things will always change
00:13And they tell me that my memories will pass
00:19But in my heart I know they'll always last
00:25Short cuts taken down alley streets
00:28And at your park where we used to meet
00:31The lake's still there and it still calls out me
00:36Where sad is song, sweet sir and Nathan
00:39Times stretched out and plant would they leave
00:43Come so far you'd come out here again
00:47For the sweet streets of Huntington Village
00:53Times moved on but the feeling's still the same
00:59And the wind has carried its own
01:04But in my heart he'll always remain
01:09As it turned the corner on top of the street
01:12My carrying stone not there to breathe
01:15But I close my eyes and it's still standing there
01:19There's surrounded shoppers and oases
01:23With stoneware pots and crackling blazes
01:26The store is gone but the heart comes home again
01:29All those sweet streets of Huntington Village
01:35Times moved on but the feeling's still the same
01:41And the winds have carried its own
01:42And the winds have carried its own
01:47But in my heart he'll always remain
01:51And the winds have carried its own
01:55In it.
01:56The plower shop's vanished into air
01:59And the music's still no longer there
02:01And the bookshop has moved so far downstream
02:04Time's moved on but things have changed
02:08Things have changed, but my love for you is still the same.
02:12For things have gone, but the heart comes home again.
02:17All the sweet streaks of Huntington Village.
02:22Times moved on, but the feeling's still the same.
02:28And the winds have carried us home.
02:33But my heart below you is still the same.
02:38All these water-colored memories.
02:42Casting dreams of all I've known.
02:47And the winds have carried us home.
02:52To this place that I call the Lord.
03:03To this place.
03:13And the wind is vague.
03:19And it's the same.
03:22Yeah.
