00:00How to mix vocals with external hardware in Logic Pro
00:08For today's example, I'm connecting the Eventide H90 Stereo FX pedal.
00:12This is a digital effects processor with a huge menu of reverbs, delays, distortions, chorus, pitch correction and more.
00:20Let's connect our gear. The outputs of my interface go to the inputs of the pedal.
00:24And the outputs of the pedal connect to the inputs on the interface.
00:27The pedal can be controlled using the knobs and buttons or via USB-C using the H90 control app.
00:33This is where you can browse Eventide's pre-made effects chains or create your own from scratch.
00:38I'm going to blend some SP-2016 reverb and delay for a wavy vocal effect.
00:42Create an audio channel, then add a stereo audio track to capture the output of your Eventide H90.
00:48Then add the StockLogic IO plugin. Choose your input and outputs that you've connected your H90 to.
00:53And you've got a hybrid workflow for recording and mixing any vocal like this.
00:58Keep fighting fire with fire.
01:02You're gonna end up burning, win or lose.
01:06You're tipping high on the wire.
01:10But if you don't look down, you'll make it through.
