00:10Jasin District Police Chief Superintendent Lee Robert said the two siblings were traveling
00:15from Johor to Malacca when the incident occurred at around 8.40 a.m.
00:20Preliminary investigations found that the 20-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle,
00:26hit a metal barrier and overturned on the left side of the road.
00:30The driver sustained injuries to his body and hands and was taken to Malacca Hospital for treatment.
00:36His 22-year-old elder brother was trapped in the severely damaged car and suffered serious head
00:42and body injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
00:47The case is being investigated under Section 41, Subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act, 1987.
