00:00I thought it was funny the way everyone interacted with Cody in particular.

00:03It seemed like everybody was kind of, he was getting under everyone's skin a little bit.

00:07What was your experience with him?

00:08Cody's sweet. Cody has great intentions.

00:12I think you put so many people into a show like that where it's fear-inducing and vulnerable

00:19and just honestly terrifying. You get exhausted.

00:23Everybody had, like, pet peeves with everybody.

00:25And I think what the show didn't show fully was we were all very close to where we could call each other out

00:34very comfortably to, like, each other's faces.

00:37So Cody and I, when we got paired up and we, like, really failed a mission very badly,

00:44what they didn't show is, like, him and I were actually talking about it.

00:47And I was like, I'm mad that this happened.

00:49And he'd say, I'm mad that this happened and I'm sorry.

00:52Like, it was very confrontational but in a friendly way.

00:55So even if something did annoy us, we could have a very open conversation about it.

01:01I think also a lot of us didn't really know who Cody was going into Special Forces.

01:06So when we were interacting with him, it was kind of all of our first times doing that.

01:12But back to, like, Sean's point, there was even the scene, remember,

01:16when they were asking who you would leave behind, what number you would leave behind.

01:20Cody, Randall, Eric, and maybe Christine.

01:23Yeah, there was only a couple of them that said my number.

01:26But when they did, I was in the car with Cody after, and I go, Cody, I just have to ask you,

01:31like, why did you say my number?

01:33His response to that was, you remind me of my wife.

01:37We all treated him with kindness.

01:38And he has, I think, you know, he means well.

01:41And it maybe just, he just wasn't taught, like, the way some people were or brought up the way that we were.

01:50And that's totally, you know, okay.
