00:00Well, the big upset in the return of only one match a couple of nights ago, Thursday.
00:19Obviously, one was the result.
00:21Tachi and Stosha Kojima able to get the dub out of the fishbowl to get themselves to two points here in World Tank.
00:29Even despite Tachi coming into the tournament with a significant left leg injury.
00:38You see a very even homily making his way up the ring sets here tonight.
00:41But the bigger upset was just how well Tachi and Kojima are able to connect.
00:46And just how they seem to have mended their fences, forgot the differences of years and years ago, some 14 years since the collapse of Kojima girl.
00:56And it seems like cold water under the bridge.
01:01And now we have a young lion, Tachi and Stosha Kojima age 55, Tachi at age 45.
01:17So this is Team 100 in reference to their combined age and experience that comes with.
01:24And it was certainly successful so far, 1-0, but with a big, big asterisk that is underneath what I'm sure is a very, very heavily wrapped left knee.
01:42And down into the ankle of Tachi, that was an injury he sustained actually before World Tag League even started.
01:51And there were question marks, he had a difficulty moving around over the weekend.
01:54This is the scuttlebutt I was able to pick up over in the office.
01:59And then either way, Tomohiro Ishii, thanks to his injuries, was unable to participate in a purge right and torture.
02:08Tachi's get in.
02:09That certainly seems ill-advised because he was attacked on his entrance and that injury was exacerbated.
02:14Will continue to be exacerbated over the course of World Tag League.
02:19Toriyano is not going to show any mercy to Taichi and, well, Bolton and Oleg is not going to show any mercy to anyone,
02:26especially someone in Taichi who has quite some history.
02:29It is a brisk 662-minute walk from here to Toriyano's Sports Bar, Emeritus.
02:52We thank our fans, our overseas fans, our members of the New Japan Global Fan Club on our Discord.
03:01Join the chat here tonight.
03:02We'll also thank the fans for selling out our New Year party January 2nd,
03:07which will be in every entrance for another live podcast Q&As.
03:12We might have a special guest or two as well.
03:14And that is going to be, well, one big part of Wrestle Kingdom Week being added to all the time.
03:23Of course, it all starts December 29th with Dream Prendum, our friends at Stardom, New York and Sumo Hall.
03:31It's going to be a huge event already.
03:34Tickets flying off the shelves for that one.
03:37January 2nd, New Year's passing, myself and Walker Stewart.
03:39Plus Alpha, January 3rd, our Fan Fest that we have every year.
03:45And of course, in Theatre, as well as the press conference to go with it.
03:50And then we've got Wrestle Kingdom 20 in the Tokyo Dome, January 4th.
03:53And New Year Dash, January 5th.
03:55Tickets went on sale internationally earlier on today for Oates Award,
04:00the Birthplace of New Japan Pro Wrestling.
04:02That's going to get 2026 started in earnest.
04:06New Year Dash, and we're also going to have, oh, drop some more information bombs for you
04:11when it comes to later in February and how fans over in the United States can take in
04:18the start of 2026 in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
04:21Hey, Murashima firing out the cannon there as he takes down Taichi.
04:24Toriyano wanted no part of proceedings.
04:27It was interesting as one-third than ever six-man champion Toriyano on the apron.
04:37Remember, if Yano and Bolton win World Tag League, that would mean, well,
04:41the shot that the World Tag League winners have at the IWGP Tag Team Championships
04:46may come a little bit later.
04:48Could come at New Year Dash, could come during the New Beginning Series,
04:51or anywhere else.
04:53It's the prerogative of the winners of that tournament.
04:56But certainly Toriyano has to defend the Never Sixers on January 4th in the Tokyo Dome.
05:02I'm at the special edition of Kaisei Takechi to Wrestle Kingdom 20.
05:11The announcement that Takechi will be part of Wrestle Kingdom 20,
05:15representing DDT Pro Wrestling, but also a huge, huge pop and dance group,
05:21The Rampage, part of the Exile Tribe.
05:23Takechi has already performed in the Tokyo Dome as part of the Exile Tribe,
05:28as singing and dancing.
05:29And he'll be wrestling on January 4th in some capacity.
05:33We're yet to find out what capacity that is.
05:37Taichi is having a difficult time being a part of this matchup in any capacity right now,
05:41as that leg is hurting him.
05:49And not always the veteran is Taichi.
05:52Certainly was in no rush to get back into the ring,
05:55but knew he had to get in at some point.
05:58And then when you're there, you have to face Bolton Olek.
06:02Taichi, somewhat, albeit on the same Hontai side as Bolton,
06:07certainly has not great feelings or not great memories of the big man from Kazakhstan.
06:14As it was in 2024, it was Bolton in the playoff tournaments for G1 Climax that forced Taichi out of the tournament that year.
06:25Taichi managed to find a last-chance survival effort to make his way into G1 Climax 35 earlier this summer.
06:32But Bolton got the win over Taichi again in the tournament.
06:36Taichi really, right now, in no position to get his revenge in Machido on Monday.
06:44It's going to be a question whether he can even walk into the building.
06:47Torriano, meanwhile, going to get no extra assist in the form of the exposed turnbuckle.
06:53And in he goes.
07:00And while the follow-up missed, Chekhov's turnbuckle smokes and kicks the back of the head from Taichi,
07:02but, well, now to use the rope to get the assist, there is no spring in the step that Taichi barely needs to make the tag.
07:09And he does to Satoshi Kojima, who will clear the apron, fill the bread and thunder.
07:28He spoke about earlier on on Thursday in Kroker and Hoar how Kojima and Taichi together as individuals have immense tag team success.
07:43Kojima seven times the IWGP tag team champion, Taichi four times the IWGP tag team champion,
07:50but never with one another.
07:54And Fujisawa erupts in chance that an ally probably shouldn't translate.
08:00There's the elbow drop.
08:02North of the border, the cover there, Sakamoto gets to two, and Torriano rolls the shoulder.
08:08There is really 14 years of ill will between Stoshi Kojima and Taichi because
08:14Taichi turned his back on what was going to be a Kojima-led faction called Kojima-good.
08:19And instead hitched his wagon to Minoru Suzuki.
08:22And the Suzuki-gun history in professional wrestling is very well documented.
08:26And it seems like all is forgiven now, but, well, no forgiveness in the heart of Bolton in any sense.
08:37He's going to hoist all of the carbs and he's going to pitch, and that's a lot of weight.
08:42Yes!
08:44Yes!
08:57Yes!
08:58Yes!
08:59Yes!
09:00Yes!
09:01Yes!
09:02It could be Kamikaze and Kojima knows the danger.
09:05Elbows are free, look at this.
09:07Kojima drops, bolts into the canvas.
09:16The youth and vigor of Masutori Yasuo being called on here.
09:21Yasuo, a brave man indeed.
09:25Making the benefit of the tag to Bolton Olin.
09:29Elbow charging the corner.
09:31Wow, impressive. It was a lot of weight to move,
09:34but hoisted on his own petard there was Yasuo as he chased the corner.
09:38Well, Bolton ran into the steel.
09:40And Yasuo, oh, he tried to capitalize on that momentum.
09:47Still might, trying to convince Bolton to go over that hit toss.
09:52Nothing doing.
09:56And look at this.
09:58There it is.
10:01The Peoples.
10:02Bolton, the Flying Body Sausage.
10:05And, well, Kojima breaks it.
10:10And there's nothing better than a nice Flying Body Sausage.
10:13My pal Kino Hano knows the in-drop there.
10:16And as in-down goes.
10:18Oh.
10:19The National to the boot with Kojima.
10:21The 8-point is clear.
10:22Bolton left all alone here.
10:25And let's see.
10:26See, there's the teamwork.
10:29It's starting to build.
10:30Nice use of Yasuo as a human weapon.
10:36The assistive moves.
10:37Alt-Gress gets two from Sakamoto.
10:40Yasuo in the plus here.
10:43But against Bolton, that's a big old ass.
10:45Can he?
10:46Will he?
10:47Oh, he does.
10:48The step over.
10:49The bust and grab.
10:51One of the squats in the dojo has to be put to good use there.
10:57But Bolton only in the hole momentarily.
11:03Good shot from Bolton.
11:09And up goes Yasuo.
11:13Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
11:14Up to the top of the field.
11:16The referee was right there when he got to two.
11:21Still a pugnacious, a tenacious Yasuo.
11:28Well, pugnacious and tenacity against you so far.
11:34That's it.
11:35Hell of a powerbomb.
11:38Hell of a powerbomb.
11:40And Masutori Yasuda's night.
11:45Any more down the line for the young tiger, Masutori Yasuda.
11:54He was a...
11:57A heck of a light night for...
12:00Katsuma Ashuma on the other side of the fence.
12:06Is he ever legal?
12:08If he was, he must have been right at the beginning of that matchup.
12:12He gets the...
12:17The story is all coming up November 24th.
12:22That is Monday night over in Manchida.
12:25The national holiday here in Japan.
12:29It's always a holiday when we get to see...
12:32Toriyano and Bolton Oleg in action.
12:34They're going to be taking on Pijima and Taichi.
12:36Both teams undefeated so far.
12:39Although that means a hell of a lot.
12:41They're both 1-0.
12:42They've won their first, but someone's going to lose their second.
12:45Someone's out.
12:47Less to go.
12:48And that is coming off Monday.
12:50.
12:52.
12:54.
12:56.
13:00.
13:02.
13:04.
13:06.
13:08.
13:10.
13:12.
13:13.
13:16.
13:38.
13:40continues right here in the jam-packed
13:44for here in Fujisawa.
13:48What a beautiful Shonan coach.
