00:00What's it like reuniting with the Better Call Saul cast here tonight?
00:03It's the best. I appreciate the nomination so that we could reunite.
00:07No, I'm kidding. We're loving it.
00:10Of course, it's a little bittersweet for it to be the last hurrah,
00:12but it's amazing to have one more chance to hang out with each other
00:16and celebrate a show that meant the world to us
00:18and continues to mean the world to us.
00:20What would it mean to finally win an Emmy for the final season?
00:24That would be amazing.
00:25I think at this point we all truly feel proud of the work we created,
00:32and Peter Gould, I think, even if I wasn't on the show,
00:36nailed the final season and the finale, and that's a really hard thing to do.
00:39I was very happy it wasn't on my shoulders to write that,
00:43but man, I guess I'd be lying if I didn't say,
00:47like, who doesn't want to run up on stage and go,
00:50thanks for recognizing our last time out here?
00:53Sure. But I have a feeling we'll feel that way about our show no matter what.
00:58Now that some time has passed,
01:00is there anything that you miss about playing the character
01:02that you didn't realize you would miss?
01:05Oh, that I didn't realize? That's a good question.
01:06I was going to say everything that I didn't realize.
01:13Wow. I think I thought I would miss everything that I do.
01:17I was just telling someone else, though, like, I still have not absorbed the lesson that I want to
01:23from Kim Wexler, which is how to not fill silences
01:27and how to not need to make sure everyone in the room is okay
01:32and to just be comfortable standing still.
01:36I can't do it. I can't do it.
01:38That's a hard one. I feel like we all struggle with that.
01:40I think women do, particularly.
01:43Exactly. That's what I was thinking as you were saying it.
01:45Being a woman in entertainment, it's especially difficult.
01:47If you go back and watch all of the episodes,
01:50she literally will just stand there and let people hang themselves.
01:53Not concerned with making it palatable in the room.
01:57Nope. Too bad. Your problem.
01:59It's like, I hope I get to do that one day. I don't know.
02:01And now you have another show that you're working on with Vince Gilligan.
02:04What can you tell us and tease about it?
02:06Well, similar to the history of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, nothing.
02:10We're never allowed to say anything.
02:11He's already released that it has a sci-fi element.
02:14More psychological than full space.
02:20And he wrote it for me, which is hard to say without crying.
02:25And we will shoot in Albuquerque with a lot of the same crew,
02:28which I'm really excited to see.
02:30And it is a role that I've never played before.
02:34It's extremely unlike anything I've done before.
02:39What else am I allowed to say?
02:40I guess the only other thing I'm allowed to say is that in his genius way,
02:46even when you're reading his scripts, I've read three,
02:48every time you think you know what genre or what story this is,
02:53he takes a turn.
02:54He keeps taking a turn and keeps taking a turn.
02:56It's amazing. It's amazing writing.
