00:00I heard that you went to boy band boot camp for this.
00:03What does a day in the life of boy band boot camp look like?
00:05And what was the biggest lesson that you learned from that experience?
00:08Well, they locked me in a room for hours and they just forced me to dance over and over and over again
00:13until I just ingrained it.
00:15I know, I know.
00:16No, I spent some amazing time with our wonderful choreographer, Danny Vitale,
00:22who I think really helped sort of ground my body in the sort of a dancer really in a way
00:31because, you know, I'm not a dancer by trade.
00:33I was an athlete and I think, you know, getting rid of a lot of that rigidity was a very important thing
00:37and really just being able to kind of own a stage and sort of command a bit of a presence, I think.
00:43So, yeah, that's kind of what boy band boot camp entailed.
00:46A little taste for us.
00:47I also want to say Anne has talked a lot about how you nailed that chemistry read with you and her.
00:52How would you describe that first interaction and going into that audition with her?
00:56I mean, it was just she was so open and she was so playful.
01:00And I think, like, that's what I love about acting is that sense of play and collaboration.
01:05And, you know, it's not very rare that you get that.
01:08It is rare, I should say, sorry, that you get that in the audition process, you know.
01:14And to have someone who's such an amazing, incredible, huge star like Annie, you know, really open themselves up to you.
01:22I mean, it was very humbling.
01:24I mean, it was very humbling.
01:24I mean, it was very humbling.
