00:00Jeff Kirkshen at the CMAs with Dan and Shay!
00:07What's up? We're here to talk about the Philadelphia Eagles victory last night over the Detroit Lions.
00:11It wasn't pretty.
00:12Yeah, but it got it done.
00:13It was not pretty.
00:14Some would say controversial.
00:15I was across the street here in Nashville, across the street from the Philly bar, because it was too crazy in there.
00:23Dang, was it really?
00:24Because only Philly fans can your team win and them be upset.
00:28Oh, for sure. I'm from Pittsburgh, so I know all about it.
00:31It's a similar vibe.
00:32Nobody hates the Eagles more than Eagles fans.
00:35Am I right?
00:36Eagles are looking legit, though.
00:37I feel like they're pulling it together.
00:39Saquon's just crazy.
00:40I'm a Penn State fan, so yeah.
00:42Y'all got Penn State's 13th grade.
00:44We had Marty Rayburn in earlier, and the first question, I said, I got one big question for you.
00:49He goes, is it about Jalen Hurts?
00:50Yeah, yeah.
00:51No, but now it is.
00:52Absolutely.
00:53Now it has to be.
00:54Well, my one big question for you two is about Long Live Christmas.
00:58I want to know from the both of you, because I love your Christmas music.
01:01Oh, thank you.
01:02Holiday party, great, too.
01:03Let's go.
01:04We had somebody else shout that song out today, too.
01:05It's a great song.
01:06Thank you, man.
01:07I like that song.
01:08I love it.
01:09It's a good vibe.
01:10But for the two of you, and I don't want to get negative here.
01:11It's not a gotcha, but for me, I'm not a fruitcake guy, and I end up with fruitcakes
01:14at my house every year.
01:15Yeah, yeah.
01:16It's just not my thing.
01:17It's not my tradition.
01:18I don't need it in my home.
01:19What's one Christmas tradition you're like, I don't need it.
01:22I don't need it.
01:23I'm good.
01:24Hmm.
01:25One Christmas tradition.
01:26I will have to say, and this might be a super niche thing that no one's ever even heard
01:31about, but my family every year, like growing up, my grandma, like both sides of the family
01:36would do this, and I don't know what it's called.
01:38They call it orange stuff.
01:39It basically has marshmallows, and it's orange, and it's some kind of gelatin type thing,
01:45and it has marshmallows in it.
01:47It's a bad texture.
01:48I've never seen anybody eat it.
01:50I bet it keeps showing up every year.
01:51I've never seen it on someone's plate before, and they call it orange stuff.
01:55I've talked to other people about this.
01:57I don't know if it's a South thing, but other people know what it is.
02:00They're like, yeah, orange stuff.
02:01It's disgusting.
02:02That's it.
02:03I don't know about it.
02:04Orange stuff.
02:05That sounds a little suspect to me.
02:06It really is.
02:07It's just a prank that's been handed down generation to generation.
02:10At this point.
02:11I've never seen anybody eat it before.
02:12I think it's a myth.
02:13I think I'll pass on that and the fruitcake.
02:15Yeah, a hard pass.
02:16Something I would say that needs to go is opening presents one present at a time.
02:20Oh.
02:21It'll just take too long.
02:22You know what I'm saying?
02:23You go around, and it's like, okay, it's Sarah's turn.
02:25She's here on doing the bow, trying not to rip the paper.
02:27Come on, Sarah.
02:28We've got to get through this.
02:29You know what I mean?
02:30It also takes attention away from bad presents, because if you don't have a good reaction,
02:33then everyone's like...
02:34That's exactly it.
02:35You open socks, and it's like...
02:36You don't want that.
02:37That's what I was hoping it was.
02:38Exactly.
02:39It's too much pressure.
02:40You open it up.
02:41It's something you don't want.
02:42You have to put on a show, like you're so grateful for it.
02:43All those socks, these clothes now, I used to be like, you're bummed when you were a
02:46kid.
02:47If I get new socks or boxers, I'm like, oh my God, thank God.
02:49Yeah, for sure.
02:50Don't worry about the socks with the holes.
02:51It's the one thing I need.
02:52I haven't gotten new socks in quite some time.
02:54Dan and Shay, we'll send you some.
02:56Dan and Shay at the CMAs.
02:57You don't know what I'm doing.
02:58Okay.
02:59I'm going to go look at a cutaway.
03:00I'm gonna get a cutaway.
03:01I'm just a full a cutaway.
03:02I'm gonna get a cutaway.
03:03You know, that they can get a cutaway.
03:04I have to give a cutaway.
03:05Tell me about the next one.
03:06I'm gonna get a cutaway.
03:07I'm gonna do it again.
03:08I'm gonna do it again.
03:09I'm gonna do it again.
