Was this arrest justified? A woman was recently arrested for social media posts that the government alleges incited violence.

According to Minister Paderoth, the arrest was justifiable, and perhaps should have happened sooner. He argues that public officials and private citizens are put at risk when personal information, such as the Prime Minister's residence location, is publicized, making them vulnerable.

00:00Minister Paderoth, we saw a woman was arrested for comments that she made via social media,
00:05which according to the detention order may have incited violence against the government.
00:09What is the government's response to her arrest?
00:11It should have come sooner.
00:13What I can say is that we have seen time and time again public officials,
00:19and you saw it happen in the former administration as well,
00:21there's only so far that you can go in terms of putting the risks,
00:25the lives of public officials and private citizens at risk.
00:29By putting up the Prime Minister's residence, her location puts her at a tremendous risk.
00:35And therefore, that's why I said it took, to me it took long in coming, but it is justifiable.
