00:00Beloved Senator for Victoria, Belinda Greed, has been given a standing ovation at the premiere of the final episode of her docu-series, Road to Canberra.
00:10The maverick politician hosted a viewing party at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image in Melbourne's Federation Square on November 20th, 2025, and was welcomed by a resounding cheer from the audience.
00:26I think she's a welcome voice of truth, to be honest. She speaks my truth.
00:30I've got posters of her. I don't know if that's too much. I'd get a tattoo if I could.
00:34I think it's an amazing satire and I think it's also like a cross-pollination of awesome politics and humour and also drag without drag.
00:47I represent Victoria. Welcome to Canberra. Thank you very much.
00:52The six-part documentary series followed the fictional senator's journey to the election,
00:57and her dogged determination to condemn wokeness in all its political forms.
01:03Would you like to ask me a question?
01:05Yes.
01:06Okay, thank you so much. Goodbye.
01:09I just think the whole genre of Belinda introducing herself to everybody in every place saying,
01:16I'm Belinda, I'm a senator. That was my part because it was very consistent.
01:20I just love how authentic Belinda is. She really speaks for the pistol of Victoria.
01:25I'm just not afraid to tell it like it is. You know, she's not a gal. She's got the fog to show it.
01:32Oh my gosh, what an amazing journey.
01:50I finally made it to Parliament House.
01:54So now that I'm your senator and I'm working for you in Canberra, like, I won't be able to come back here as much as I used to.
02:04This is just a one-night-only affair, but I'm so glad that I got to see you all tonight.
02:14I couldn't have done it without you and I promise that I will do everything that I can to work for me in Canberra.
02:22Thank you so much.
02:25Thank you so much.
