00:00But when they finally said like, you're done, you're the winners, we were like, okay.
00:05Like the hugs felt really good at the end.
00:10Virtual reality.
00:14Alright, Sean Jansenis and Gia Giudice, the winners of Special Forces.
00:17Dani and I are so honored you would make time for us.
00:19I know.
00:20Especially you, Gia, after our weekend of BravoCon.
00:22We were there, we're exhausted.
00:24I don't know how you're holding up, but now it's kind of making sense that you won Special Forces because you're tough like that.
00:28Thank you, I appreciate it.
00:29How are y'all feeling?
00:30Are you feeling so proud of yourselves?
00:32Yeah.
00:33Yeah?
00:34Yeah.
00:34It's a pinch me moment, but I think we were waiting for this moment a little bit.
00:38Yeah.
00:39All these interviews that I was doing with you guys, that she was doing, we were dying to say something, but we obviously couldn't.
00:46I won, yeah.
00:47Were you surprised that you won?
00:48Like when you took off the little mask and then you saw each other, were you just like, oh my god, it was us this whole time?
00:53Yeah.
00:54Did you kind of see that though?
00:55Were you visualizing it?
00:57I, like sure, visualizing the end.
00:59Oh, yeah.
01:00Like the end is near, like I want to make it.
01:04I think when we got into interrogation at that point, I was like, okay, Andrea, just do this.
01:11You get to be so delirious on the last day and there's no communication of like, it's over or we have five hours left or whatever.
01:19So I think when they, we took our hoods off standing in the square, we didn't understand.
01:25Yeah.
01:25We're kind of like, okay, what are we doing?
01:28How are you going to torture us now?
01:30But when they finally said like, you're done, you're the winner.
01:34So we were like, okay.
01:36Like the hugs felt really good at the end.
01:38And watching it back, reliving it.
01:40What was the first thing you texted Brianna?
01:43Because.
01:43I know.
01:44She almost made it, y'all.
01:45That was crazy.
01:46Ten minutes.
01:46Ten minutes.
01:47No.
01:48I know.
01:48She, like she made it.
01:49She made it.
01:50She did.
01:51She did.
01:52She did.
01:52Right.
01:52She did.
01:53Okay.
01:53Yes.
01:53I'm rounding off.
01:53But like she also didn't.
01:54I'm rounding off.
01:55Which was sad.
01:56I know.
01:56Like she was so close.
01:57I texted her and I was like, Bri, like, where did you go?
02:03Yeah.
02:03Because like you would have made it.
02:05But it's hard because you really, like Sean said, you don't have a concept of time.
02:10So our brains were so like altered and like we didn't know what was going on.
02:15So when she was lying there, she was probably just, you know, confused and disoriented.
02:23And like it just, she said the wrong thing at the wrong time.
02:26Right.
02:26And I mean, it almost, you kind of almost hit your breaking point.
02:30Yeah, I did.
02:31Because you're essentially being buried alive, which is very uncomfortable.
02:34What got you to lay back down?
02:37Like what went through your mind?
02:38What changed your course of action?
02:41Let's do it.
02:43Because of the tunnels, I was nervous because I knew I already kind of freaked out with like the claustrophobia.
02:49So I thought that was going to happen again.
02:51And I was like, I am so delirious right now.
02:53Like I don't feel like having a panic attack in this thing right now.
02:56So the guy, one of the interrogators looked at me and was like, just get in.
03:02And I was like, yeah.
03:04Okay.
03:04So I laid back.
03:06I got in and he shut in.
03:07I was actually very calm.
03:09I was like, all right.
03:11Like, it's like a tanning bed.
03:12Yeah, right.
03:13Exactly.
03:14I actually said to her with the like being buried, I didn't think that was the end.
03:18I still thought we had like a long way to go.
03:19Oh.
03:19But it was so much better than being with the headphones and the bag and the stress positions that I was like, I am happy.
03:28Just bury me now.
03:30I'm going to take a nap.
03:31And they showed glimpse of that.
03:33Like, guys, we were listening to those noises for hours and hours and hours and hours.
03:38That would break me.
03:39The babies crying.
03:41What else was playing?
03:42Leaving and going to get interrogated was easy.
03:44That was the easy part.
03:46They were like, sitting in that room, animals being slaughtered.
03:49Oh, my God.
03:51And it was all so loud.
03:53How long?
03:53I can barely handle someone talking near me on a plane.
03:56Like, I wouldn't be able to.
03:56You were sitting there with those headphones on for 12 hours?
03:59Yes.
04:00With only small breaks in between to go get interrogated.
04:03But like, most of the time we were listening to those noises.
04:07Were you like trying, what was going through your head?
04:08Were you trying to like hum a song to distract you?
04:11No, you honest, yes and no.
04:13But like, you got put in, as you're listening to this, you got put in stress positions.
04:18So like, you would have to sit crisscross applesauce on the floor with your hands above your head.
04:23And then you would get to be so sore, like at a breaking point.
04:27And then all of a sudden they'd stand you up and you'd have to lock your knees out against the wall.
04:31And then you'd have to lay down.
04:32It was like, it was awful.
04:35It was awful.
04:36Awful.
04:36Awful.
04:37Would we go back and do another season?
04:38I would do everything but the last day.
04:40Okay.
04:40Really?
04:41You like, same.
04:42Honestly, I totally agree with that.
04:43The last day was the worst of it, you would say?
04:45Yeah, because it was just like, oh my gosh.
04:47I never want to do that again.
04:48Yeah, no.
04:49Yeah.
04:49But it was, um, I lost my train of thought.
04:54Would you do it again?
04:55Yeah.
04:55No, I would.
04:56I would, same thing with you.
04:57I would do everything besides the last day.
04:59But, um, oh yeah, when we were pulled out for interrogation, it was for like, yeah, like
05:0710, 15 minutes.
05:09Like nothing.
05:09And then you would get back, brought back and listening to the noises again.
05:13Oh.
05:13So, it became to a point, like, it came to a point where I was so delirious that, and
05:19I'm sure you felt this too, I started falling asleep to listening to the noises.
05:23Oh, yeah.
05:23Oh, that's not your sleep sound?
05:25Oh, my God.
05:26Baby's crying is my sleep sound.
05:26It's like your white noise.
05:28That's so funny.
05:29At BravoCon this weekend, we were chatting with your mom, Teresa, and she was like whispering
05:33to us, like, keep watching, keep watching.
05:34I think you're going to like the ending.
05:36She was clearly so proud of the fact that you won, Gia.
05:39Like, when you came home and let her know that you, like, what was her reaction?
05:43Oh, my God.
05:44When I called her from the car, um, because we got our phones pretty much right away.
05:48Oh, okay, okay.
05:48So, you were like, ah, why?
05:49And I called her from the car, and like, she was screaming, jumping up and down, so excited.
05:54I walked through the doors when I got home, and there was like a huge banner that said
05:58like Special Forces winner with like balloons, and she was so, so happy.
06:04It was adorable.
06:05Oh, that's cute.
06:05How was your return to reality?
06:07Um, she got to see her baby.
06:08I got to see my baby.
06:10Yeah.
06:10It was great.
06:11It was amazing.
06:11You're like, babies crying?
06:12You're like, good, yeah.
06:13Really?
06:14Yeah.
06:15My husband and I had to get used to like going back home to just the same amount of noise,
06:19but it was amazing.
06:21Like, being able to go home and have my babies.
06:23And now, I'm curious too, because of course, we know Gia's no stranger to reality TV.
06:26Yeah.
06:26We haven't seen you on reality TV a ton, really?
06:28So, like, does this kind of make you go like, oh, this is fun.
06:32I know it's a very specific type of reality.
06:34You got a taste of it, but would you and your man be open to some more?
06:37I want my husband on Dancing with the Stars so bad.
06:41He would kill it, I feel like.
06:41Yeah.
06:42He would.
06:42He seems kind of graceful.
06:43He, yeah.
06:45You're like, yeah, sure.
06:46Yeah, he's got it.
06:47With respect to you, he's nice to look at.
06:49Yeah.
06:49He's great to look at.
06:50He's very pretty.
06:51He's a good looking couple.
06:52He is the greatest human on the face of the earth.
06:55I mean, you see everything on the show of just like grit and everything, but he is.
07:01Well, you even see his soft spots, you know, of when he led the group through that tunnel
07:07challenge and he just wouldn't give himself credit, but he literally did so amazing and
07:12was such an amazing leader.
07:14And there were just so many other moments, too, throughout the show.
07:17It's kind of nice to know that he was let go because he was a bad liar.
07:20I know.
07:21His honesty got the best of him.
07:22Like, that was probably like a proud wife moment for you.
07:26Like, see, my husband can't lie, you know?
07:28Like, Gia said, she learned firsthand.
07:30He doesn't give himself credit.
07:32And as a wife, that's so hard to watch.
07:34Like, I know it's him as well.
07:36But to be kicked off a show by the special forces because you're a bad liar.
07:42I was like, you're a great human.
07:45That's a win.
07:45That's a win.
07:46I am, because I am curious, because you guys did this experience together, how, what
07:50did you learn from it that you want to take in your relationship?
07:53You know what I mean?
07:53Like, what practices are you like, okay, you know, because of this, we're going to
07:56start doing this.
07:57I think I just got to see a different side of him.
08:00I think, and vice versa.
08:02He got to see a different side of me.
08:03All those, like, quirky little qualities that probably get on our nerves at home.
08:08We got to see, like, in an element where it was so specific to, like, character.
08:14Seeing him lead everybody and kind of be a rock for, like, the entire group.
08:19I feel like if anybody was struggling, it's like, Andrew's going to pick you up and keep
08:22you going.
08:23To see that just made me fall in love with him even more.
08:25And so now, back at home, seeing those quirky qualities of him being, like, a human golden
08:30retriever and, like, bouncing off the walls, now I appreciate it even more.
08:34Because I'm like, that's just you.
08:36And it's such a beautiful thing to witness.
08:37Yeah.
08:38In the little recap of your time on the show, you know, there was this idea that maybe you
08:43were a bit robotic and didn't allow yourself to be vulnerable.
08:45Do you think that after doing this you are more comfortable with being vulnerable and
08:50opening up and stuff?
08:51I think so a lot.
08:52I think there was a part of that show when they kind of broke down that robotic side and
08:58I had Navy SEALs and Recon Marines and SAS saying it's okay to show emotion, which was
09:03crazy.
09:05It was very cathartic.
09:06I think it healed a part of me that I needed healed from my childhood.
09:10And to have them tell me it's okay to show emotion, I felt like that was, like, God telling
09:15me it's okay.
09:16Right.
09:16We respected them so much.
09:18So to have them heal that side of me was really special.
09:21I know.
09:21And it's funny, too, because we mentioned this to Gia when she came in a few weeks ago.
09:25Because we met DS Foxy.
09:26We were so scared of him until we met him.
09:28I know.
09:28And then he was like, you are the sweetest man on earth.
09:30He's so nice.
09:31Yes.
09:31And he's so hot.
09:33Yeah.
09:33We love him.
09:34We love Foxy.
09:35But I love the Gia point.
09:36Like, it's like, they really are, you see, operating with them in person, they really
09:40do have that, like, all-encompassing energy where I'm like, oh, that's why everybody opens
09:44up to them so much and just feels so trusting it around them.
09:46Well, and I think there's an aspect to the show where you're doing death-defying stunts
09:50that, with no training.
09:52Yeah.
09:52And so you either have to, like, humble yourself very quickly and put all of your trust and
09:56safety into these guys or not listen to them and jeopardize yourself.
10:00And so we all became so, like, we just trusted them so much with our lives that, like, who
10:08else are you going to trust?
10:09I know.
10:10Not us.
10:11I mean, like, we tried our best, but, like, they were, like, our guardian angels.
10:15It was, like, lead us to success, honestly.
10:19But you would look at Foxy and you'd be like, am I good?
10:21And you'd be like, I'm like, okay, okay, we're good.
10:23Yeah.
10:24It was just, like, that nod.
10:26But then Billy would, like, every challenge with a height, he would take my harness and
10:33jolt me over the edge.
10:35Like you're falling off.
10:36And I'm like...
10:37He thought it was so funny.
10:38He thought it was hilarious.
10:40Oh, gosh.
10:41That is why me and Foxy got into a fight after the tightrope.
10:44I know.
10:44Because I was so on edge.
10:47Yeah.
10:48Because Billy was shaking me over the edge.
10:50No, I would, like, elbow on the face.
10:51Then I was doing the tightrope.
10:54Then the helmet started going over my head, so I just screamed.
10:56I was like, you know what?
10:57I'm scared.
10:58My eyes are shut.
11:00Like, this is not...
11:01Okay.
11:01I'm about to go bravo on you.
11:02Yeah.
11:03Get ready for that.
11:04Yeah.
11:05Well, and that's why Foxy was like, who do you think you're talking to?
11:08I'm like...
11:09Who do you think you're talking to?
11:11Yeah.
11:12Do you know what I love about this moment, Gia, is that you're able to celebrate it
11:14with the fandom, with your parents, and now your aunt and uncle, which is...
11:18Yeah.
11:18This was, like, such a crazy development.
11:20I feel like no one expected it.
11:21Like, everyone was talking about a reunion and a reconciliation for so long,
11:25but then just to see it, like, so, like, in your face at BravoCon,
11:27like, I feel like the world truly healed.
11:29How are you feeling, and were you able to talk to Joe and Melissa
11:31about winning Special Forces and all that?
11:33Are they so proud of you, too?
11:34No, yeah.
11:35My mom, I think, told my uncle.
11:37I haven't really talked to him about it yet,
11:39but we've just been talking about a bunch of other things
11:42that are, you know, more important right now.
11:44There's a lot to catch up on.
11:45Yeah, there's a lot to catch up on.
11:48But, yeah, I mean, it's very healing for us.
11:50How is independent life living on your own?
11:52Yeah.
11:52Are you loving it?
11:53Oh, my God, it's, like, the best thing I've ever done in my life.
11:56Yeah.
11:57Yeah, no, I'm loving it.
11:59I'm really loving the alone part aspect of it.
12:02Yeah, the quiet, yes.
12:03Yeah.
12:04And it really just felt so homey, like, right away,
12:07because I was kind of OCD about it and got everything before I moved in.
12:11But Sean's, like, kind of doing the same thing right now.
12:15Oh, really?
12:16Are you moving?
12:17Yeah, we're in the middle of a movie.
12:18Oh, my God.
12:19Yeah.
12:20Yeah.
12:20That is the worst.
12:21I was like, I'm going to move with a baby.
12:22Yeah.
12:23But it's exciting.
12:23It's exciting.
12:24So it's great, though.
12:26That is my, what I'm, for, like, the moving energy, too,
12:29I feel like it's always a thing where you're, like,
12:31should I just, like, completely start?
12:32Are you thinking of, like, throwing all your stuff?
12:33Yeah.
12:34Oh, yeah, I'm like, just get rid of it.
12:36Yeah, right.
12:37Everything's getting donated.
12:38Everything.
12:39Yeah.
12:39My mom, like, wanted me to take my bedroom set,
12:41and I was like, no.
12:42Yeah.
12:42I still need a place to sleep when I come back home.
12:44Well, that's, yeah, I said that.
12:46I was, like, on Thanksgiving.
12:48I'm just not sleeping home.
12:49Or Christmas Eve, I'm never going to sleep home.
12:51Does she want to, like, transform your room into something else?
12:53Oh, my room is empty right now.
12:55Okay.
12:55Okay.
12:56Right?
12:57The only thing that's in my room is a bed.
13:00Okay.
13:00You're like, so I have to have something.
13:01I feel like maybe, like, an extra closet for your mom.
13:03She's, like, thinking of.
13:04No, she fully said that.
13:05Okay.
13:05And not, like, she needs another one.
13:07She actually needs a closet clean out.
13:09Right.
13:10No, and I mean, like, I feel like this cast,
13:12like, you guys had such a special connection and bond with everybody.
13:14And I know we asked Gia this when she came in,
13:17and you wanted Ariana to be on the show.
13:18Or you think Ariana would be really fun on Special Forces?
13:21Yeah.
13:21So I'm curious, Sean, who from your life do you think would be really great?
13:23Oh, my gosh.
13:25That's a great question.
13:27I would say Simone Biles.
13:30Oh, yeah.
13:31Oh, my gosh.
13:31She is just a force.
13:34And I think being able to take her out of her element
13:37and put it in another element
13:38and, like, just see how much of a force she is is really, really cool.
13:41I think the world needs to know more of her.
13:43Oh, I didn't know that.
13:43Yeah, she seems to, like, really fun.
13:45She is, yeah.
13:45Like, I sense there's, like, a really fun side to her
13:47that we probably haven't seen yet.
13:49There is.
13:49And I think, especially in gymnastics,
13:50we have seen that we don't get,
13:52you don't get to know these people.
13:54Right.
13:54And I think the world needs to know more of her.
13:57Oh, okay.
13:57And you know what I just remember, too?
13:58Also, at BravoCon, we talked to Brittany.
14:00I love Brittany.
14:01Oh, yeah.
14:01We're right.
14:02She's so cute.
14:04Andrew actually just asked me about her.
14:06I completely forgot she was on this season,
14:08but, yeah, that was a rough start.
14:10Because we told her again.
14:10I would have tapped out when she did.
14:12You know what I mean?
14:13Yeah, totally.
14:13But she was also...
14:14I felt so bad.
14:15She was so hard on herself.
14:16I know.
14:16She really was.
14:17The first day was so hard.
14:19Like, the first day,
14:21just to throw you in like that,
14:23there was a lot.
14:24We did, like, four workouts that day.
14:26It was, like, not an easy...
14:28They should have maybe done one or two.
14:31Like, ease into it.
14:33Gia's got notes.
14:33Very special for us.
14:34The days should have gotten harder,
14:36which they did, obviously.
14:37It was a weird awakening.
14:38But I get it.
14:39Yeah, because we told her, too,
14:40like, even the fact...
14:41And I think she kind of got to a place.
14:42Like, even you signed up
14:43and you went on the plane.
14:44Yeah.
14:45Be proud of that.
14:46Absolutely.
14:47Also, she made it through
14:48the whole first day.
14:49Yeah.
14:49But there was, like, a consequence where...
14:52Because she made it through the workout.
14:53She did.
14:54But then they said you had to run home,
14:55that one team.
14:57And it was, like, during the run
14:58that she tapped out.
