00:00At home he should be safe, but Raymond Wilson feels anything but since being attacked in
00:09front of his Malum Crescent unit.
00:11Well the worst one I had to be x-rayed for was in the knee and it's still sore.
00:17He's scared and not sleeping well.
00:19Even now I get that heavy worried feeling.
00:24Raymond's daughter Sharon Simpson also upset.
00:28Because we were already on edge because of the two other elderly gentlemen who had been
00:32attacked that week and allegedly by the same woman.
00:36So yes it was very distressing.
00:39Police say they're looking for a teenage girl in relation to the assaults.
00:44But Sharon and Raymond say they want the Department of Housing to take action to improve security
00:49at the block of units now.
00:51Because this isn't an isolated incident so I think it needs to be ramped up.
00:57It's old people getting targeted throughout because they can't fight back.
01:02They want better lighting, fencing and CCTV installed.
01:06Mainly so they can catch them and that will slow them down if they can catch a few of them.
01:11Sharon believes the Department of Housing's response has been too slow.
01:15I do know that emails go into a big black hole, they're not manned, you don't get a response.
01:23It's a matter of having to continue to go into housing and continue to put your case forward.
01:29The Department has been contacted for comment.
