Christopher Nolan is setting up his next movie at his 'Oppenheimer' studio, Universal. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed Matt Damon is also in talks to star in the feature, which has a release date of July 17th, 2026. Like with 'Oppenheimer,' Nolan will once again pen the script and produce alongside producing partner and wife Emma Thomas. The film will be Damon's third movie with Nolan, as he also appeared in 2023's 'Oppenheimer' and 2014's 'Interstellar.'

00:30make his next feature. He publicly split with longtime home Warner Brothers in late 2020,
00:35amid its controversial Project Popcorn initiative, but has expressed that he's open to doing business
00:40with the studio again. While Oppenheimer was acquired by Universal in a highly controlled
00:44auction setting, this new project went straight to the studio, according to sources. Universal had
00:49no comment. As for Oppenheimer, the movie grossed $975 million globally, making it Nolan's third
00:56biggest film at the global box office behind Batman movies The Dark Knight Rises and The Dark Knight.
