Christmas in the North East: What Locals Look Forward to Most

Where will you be this Christmas Day, are you doing anything special, and what do you enjoy most about Christmas?

00:00I'll be at home with all of my extended family come and stay so there are 15 of us who like

00:07live together for about five days. I will be going back home to be with my parents in Brighton

00:14my favourite thing to do is share a meal with my family and also I'm Christian so just kind of like

00:23remembering the reasons for the season. We'll probably have family over in the morning and

00:28then we do kind of Christmas by ourselves in the afternoon just because growing up we always had

00:33like 20 people over and it was chaos so it's quite nice now to be able to kind of just the four of us

00:37but probably end up in work as well at some point having to work a couple of hours at the bar but

00:42triple pay it'll be fine. That's nice actually. Yeah that's nice and I'll be doing nothing otherwise

00:48in that couple of hours. Last Christmas spending time in my family you know having a meal and getting

00:52to see everyone that I haven't been able to see because obviously I live quite a way away so they

00:56can't really come up to visit so that's what I'll be doing.
