00:12We are headed to Jamestown.
00:15Jamestown was literally the gateway to the gold rush in the 1850s.
00:22There's some really old buildings here, particularly the Jamestown Hotel.
00:30This place saw a lot of suicide, a lot of death, but the reason that we're going there
00:36is there's a couple ex-law enforcement guys that stayed there, and one of them claims you
00:44have been possessed by a demonic entity, and some of this was captured on camera.
00:54Wow, and that's coming from a cop.
00:56We need to first try to figure out what's the source of this and investigate these claims.

02:21In the mid-1800s, a 120-mile-long vein of gold was discovered right here in the Sierra Nevada mountains.
02:31And gold fever brought people from all over the world.
02:35A few got rich, but many found themselves on the wrong side of the grave.
02:40In the early 1900s, the Jamestown Hotel was converted into the Mother Lode Hospital, and death became a frequent visitor.
02:50In 1924, Mrs. Alice Davis died after a brutal car accident.
02:56In 1928, Mickey Lee died after drinking poison in her room.
03:01In 1937, Mrs. Lou Asbill died after shooting herself in the heart.
03:08In 1928, Tom Ratkovich died at the hospital following a long illness.
03:16And the list goes on, requiring the basement to be used as a morgue.
03:21In the 1950s, the building was turned back into a hotel.
03:25While the bodies have been removed, it appears their souls have clung onto these blood-soaked walls and floors.
03:32Or perhaps something even darker and much older has been unleashed here, and it shows no sign of checking out.
03:40Recent reports describe unexplained shadowy figures, poltergeist activity, and this former deputy sheriff who claims to have been possessed in the basement.
03:51We need to get to the bottom of this, because right now, anyone who sets foot inside is in serious danger.

07:17I was just informed that the woman that I was speaking to apparently did have an experience last night.
07:24She saw something last night, and we just went back in there.
07:29One of my crew members asked if she would tell me about it.

07:34And then she just literally just stormed out.

08:53I continued on walking, and then all of a sudden, I just stopped dead in my tracks.

09:00I started getting really dizzy and lightheaded, and I go, I got to get out of here.
09:04I remember walking up the stairs.
09:07Then next thing I know, I'm looking around the room, and everybody's like, are you okay?

09:15I retired as a sergeant with the sheriff's office in Santa Cruz County.
09:19As a kid growing up, I had always had interaction with the other side, with spirits.
09:24But as I got older, then I realized that wasn't normal.
09:28So I kind of shut it down.
09:31Mike and I were in law enforcement together, and we just started to get to know each other.
09:35It all converged here at the hotel.
09:39He decided to go down into the basement, and he comes up.
09:44And I could tell immediately, possession took over.
09:47He was staring off into the distance, and he was doing this with his hand.
09:52All I know about this incident is what I saw in the video.
09:57In the video, there's a moment where you look like you were fighting something.

10:07I'm pretty mildly dead most of the time.

10:15If an entity was taking over you, was there any residual effects that you do remember, that you do have thought of?

15:15And they were saying that I was just, like, staring off into space.
15:19And then they said it sounded like I was talking in a different language, and then...

16:32I was told about something when we booked this location.
16:38There's a place nearby called the Moaning Caverns.

16:42I was like, well, if we're doing the hotel, I don't know how that would connect.
16:46So I think I could make that connection.
16:48The day before, I was on a field trip there.

16:55I had that experience.

17:06The Moaning Caverns are notoriously known for a small hole in the ground that drops hundreds
17:12of feet down a vertical shaft, where hundreds of human beings have fallen or even been sacrificed.
17:20Could these caverns, also known as a portal to hell, possibly tie into what's going on here
17:27in Jamestown?
17:27So the reason they called it Moaning Caverns is because they would hear screams, like,
17:35from the pit of hell coming out of the cave.
17:38And that over the thousands and thousands of years, so many people have fallen down that
17:44hole.
17:44And it's just like a two, 300-foot drop.
17:47And they find all the dead bodies of them at the bottom of the pit.
17:50There was an article from a long time ago, I think from the 1800s, that said that the
17:56bones that were found down there were a lot of Native American.
18:00Some of them were actually executed there.
18:02Really?
18:03Like, sacrificed.
18:04But at the bottom of the pit, some of those bones, it's like that article indicated that
18:08they weren't human, like, possibly alien.

18:13If that hole was used for some kind of ritualistic sacrifice for thousands of years, they're not
18:19doing it now.
18:19So whatever could be down there that they've been keeping at bay by doing these sacrifices
18:24could be coming out.

18:28And if it can't get souls through the deaths of them falling, it is attaching itself to
18:34whoever visits there and who is vulnerable.
18:37Then, after they're attacked, when they sleep at night, they will go through in their dreams
18:43the sacrifice of them falling.

19:10be a gateway to hell that's opening up this entire area, I just got a tip that on the edge
19:17of town, there's a saloon.
19:18That saloon has seen five mysterious fires.
19:24And back in 1985, there was a newspaper article where the owners blamed the ghosts within demonic infestations, within demonic hauntings.
19:35It's very common to link the association of mysterious fires being manifested, just like the fires of hell.
19:44So we're going to go talk with somebody over there and see if this crisis of malevolent energy is not just confined to the Jamestown Hotel, but the entire town.

20:02Originally, it wasn't as obvious of an opening.
20:04It used to be a lot more overgrown, so people would be walking, trip, and then they could fall into the cave, and that would be it.

20:12It goes vertical for 28 feet before it hits the first small shelf, and then you would bounce off that shelf and fall an additional 140 to 160 feet, depending on where you'd land.

24:38People could have been tossed in as human sacrifices to appease whatever dark entity or demon was believed to inhabit this mysterious underworld.

26:16So if there's a presence of electromagnetic energy, it will interfere with that device and cause

29:47We met a lady when we arrived saying that she is conducting exorcisms in this town.
29:52We met an ex-deputy sheriff that described the possession that happened to him.
29:57Then we interviewed another woman who experienced the same exact thing.
30:01Whatever is happening here, we need to try to get more evidence of so that we can give
30:06a proper diagnosis on how it can be treated or banished.

30:27It's a highly sensitive microphone that's dialed into the frequency range of the human voice,
30:31which is great for EVPs.

30:37And as you can see, there's really nothing popping up.
30:40So if there's any noise, you'll actually see it jumping on the waveform,

38:49This is irrefutable proof that we just documented an unknown entity on camera, and the fact that we know when spirits are touching us.

39:05As soon as I felt it, then you saw something.
39:08It was, hey, it was literally floating right behind you for a split second and then gone.

39:16I have not felt something touch me like that for an extended amount of time for a long time.
39:23I decide to have Billy and I head back up to Nerve Center while Aaron stays down here and takes extended exposure ultraviolet Polaroid photos.
39:32So at this moment, I don't have any doubt that it's there.
39:37And I think it is connected to the ground in those cubbies, connected to the dirt ground.
39:43As Aaron is taking photos in this exact direction where we just captured the figure on XLS, he sees something.
39:50As he takes another photo, you will see it does look dark.
40:02That's because it's in the UV spectrum.
40:04But you can also see this long, wispy light anomaly appear in the center of the room, which is truly remarkable.
40:10Is this an energized spiritual form that manifested in this UV spectrum of light?
40:17Back up at Nerve, Billy, Jay, and I are discussing movement that I think I caught out of the corner of my eye on one of the X-cams.
40:25My eyes weren't focused in, like, right in that direction, but I saw movement there.
40:29When we review the footage, we make a shocking discovery.
40:40Because of the darkness of the room, we do believe that what we are seeing could possibly be a pillow moving on the bed by itself.
40:48And once we were able to analyze this video further, we confirm this is the pillow moving, as if someone is making the bed or adjusting it from beneath their head.
41:00This is an incredible piece of poltergeist activity.
41:04After our investigation, I conclude that there is evidence of an entity downstairs, but I'm unable to determine if this was the one that possessed Mike because I didn't feel any negativity or like it was trying to enter me.
41:19Now, my protection may be stronger, and it may have latched onto Mike from some type of emotional weakness in that moment.
