00:22The party views the results as an early gauge of voter support for the upcoming midterm elections.
00:27Following these victories, President Donald Trump's former advisor spoke to guests at a Conservative Partnership Institute event.
00:34I will tell you right now, as God is my witness, if we lose the midterms, if we lose 2028, some in this room are going to prison, myself included.
00:43Bannon told the audience, they're not going to stop.
00:46They are getting more and more and more radical.
00:49And we have to counter that.
00:50And what do we have to counter it with?
00:52We have to counter it with more action, more intense action, more urgency.
00:55We're burning daylight.
00:58Bannon warned that time is running out for conservatives to act.
01:02If we don't do that now, we're going to lose this chance forever because you're never going to have another Trump.
01:06All right, he continued, adding, you're just not going to have him.
01:11Bannon's cautionary message follows his past incarceration.
01:14The media executive spent four months behind bars last year after being convicted on two counts of contempt of Congress.
01:20At the time, he ignored a congressional subpoena and declined to testify before the House January 6th Committee.
01:27Bannon also pleaded guilty in February to defrauding supporters of We Build the Wall, an organization claiming to use private donations to construct a border wall.
01:36By pleading guilty, Bannon avoided jail, and the remaining federal charges were wiped out when Trump pardoned him in January 2021.
