00:00And speaking of watching TV, after Pete Davidson revealed that he has tried to keep Kanye jokes off of SNL,
00:06comedian Chris Redd said that they may start to bring up the drama with the rapper.
00:10In a recent appearance on Sirius XM, The Jess Cagle Show, Chris, who usually impersonates Kanye on SNL,
00:17told the host that he is definitely down to make fun of the rapper, but the situation is also not one to be taken lightly.
00:23The fellow Chicago native said,
00:25I was raised joking. You clown, you clown people. That's kind of how we come up. We're from the same place.
00:30We know the same people. But at the same time, there's a serious layer to this situation that I just won't make fun of.
00:37He admitted I'm not making fun of his mental health. I have my own mental health issues myself,
00:42so I'm very aware of those things, and I never come from that place of making fun of that specifically.
00:48His irresponsibility is what I make fun of, and his ego, but it's never those things.
00:53However, Chris did say that he is really tired of sitting on these jokes,
00:57so I hope they figure things out soon, because AI ain't got nothing to do with none of this.
01:02He complimented his SNL co-star's approach to the drama between Kim and Kanye, saying,
01:07I think Pete's handling it all well, and you know, he's starting to talk again,
01:11and he is handling that well, so I think these jokes are going to start flying soon.
01:16We definitely cannot wait to see what they come up with.
