00:00Continuing with Kanye, recall his latest music video for his song Eazy featured some disturbing images of what appears to be Ye burying and killing Kim's boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
00:10The video is mostly claymation and shows Kanye's character dragging a body tied up by ropes with a bag over his head.
00:17And when Ye pulls off the bag, it looks like Pete's face.
00:20Just in case you still weren't sure if it was Pete or not, at the end of the video it says,
00:24Everyone lived happily ever after except Skeet, you know who? Joking, he's just fine.
00:30Well, the aftermath of this video didn't settle well with Kim because according to a source who exclusively told Hollywood Life that Kim didn't find this funny at all.
00:39But she was able to let it go when she saw Pete was amused by it.
00:43According to another source, the Saturday Night Live cast member was flattered and thought the video was hilarious.
00:49The insider said Pete was pretty amused by the whole thing and he wasn't bothered by the graphic animation or anything else.
00:56He actually thinks it's kind of cool and in a weird way, he's actually flattered that Kanye put that much attention into him.
01:03Pete thinks it's a dope video and has no problem with it whatsoever.
01:06Well, now Kanye took to Instagram and appears to have responded to the backlash defending the music video.
01:12He posted a picture of a black and white image of a church on fire captioning it,
01:17Art is therapy just like this view. Art is protected as freedom of speech. Art inspires and simplifies the world.
01:24Art is not a proxy for any ill or harm. Any suggestion otherwise about my art is false and malintended.
01:32The Grammy winner concluded the post with a black heart emoji.
