00:20little too much white i don't want color you like it no oh i was like oh i don't know if she got this

00:27right can mika and i tackle every design dilemma what is that phase no hey no no no stop stop stop

00:32stop no for a dream home that fulfills every single wish wow oh my god

00:41oh man brian this is looking good so far yeah mika and i build custom homes on fast timelines

00:50we don't want to carry two mortgages for too long time is money we're proof that construction

00:56and marriage can mix give me a sweaty hug we're still doing new construction you ready to break

01:02some ground but now we're taking bigger risk look at all that black mold behind that wall i think we're

01:09gonna do a shipping container house let's go making bolder decisions put your arm up here

01:14we've never put it in any other house and always racing the clock i can't believe they're gonna be

01:21living inside of this in less than 100 days this is amazing

01:26check this out here they are hey this is so nice it's tucked away we've been out to plant city many

01:38many of times but i've never seen this neighborhood you know i feel like plant city is like the last

01:42frontier of the tampa bay area there's still land out here to build and uh brian and debbie found the

01:48perfect lot this lot is massive so how big is this this is two and a half acres okay we were

01:53going to actually buy a home we looked at a lot and then finally i just said you know what we have

01:57to fix it the way we want it anyway so let's just build you live basically across the lake from us

02:03currently is that the reason why you're moving out to plant city to get away from your neighbors

02:07this will put us closer to our children and grandchildren oh nice okay that's a perk my wife

02:15and i were glad we found each other yes and we did later in life well in my former life i had a night

02:20club that's where we met debbie used to like to come in with her mom and dance we love to jitterbug

02:26i saw a cute girl very caring and compassionate she keeps life interesting for those around her

02:31my mom would tell me brian likes you and i'd be like no way it only took me nine years to ask her

02:35out but we dated for about a year and then he asked me to marry him i don't know what i would do

02:39without him honestly well i'm excited for you guys i mean it's kind of sad and bittersweet that

02:43we're gonna lose you as neighbors but i have to say i think you're gonna be super happy here too

02:48so i have to ask you how big is your current house it looks massive 6 700 square foot but it's a

02:54multi-generational home it's all connected yes it is we designed the house that we're in

02:59and had talked mom and dad to come down from michigan i have a disabled brother and uh we

03:04all decided we'd build a family estate take care of one another and what's happened now mom and dad

03:09have gone to be with the lord we have my brother in the facility okay he needs additional care so

03:15it's time for us to build something for us makes sense we've taken care of people my grandchildren

03:21my mom brian's mom and dad his brother and now we need to take care of us when you say downsizing

03:28are we cutting that in half or like how small about 2 900 square foot that's right in that area

03:34what are you envisioning here single floor how many bedrooms bathrooms are we wanting i'd like

03:38um a main bedroom and then two bedrooms with a shared bath okay and we like open concept we like

03:44to entertain and we do christmas with our kids and we always have a lot of people so i would like a

03:49separate dining room oh like a formal like a formal dining room yes and then a den for you right my wife

03:55is always on me about sitting at the kitchen table and doing my work and then we also want a craft room

04:01for her what about outdoor space yes ill and i we'd like that and a three-stall garage where are we

04:08downsizing obviously you guys are gonna put that together wait a minute um what are we looking at as

04:14far as budget for the house we're looking at 925 000. okay i feel like you guys are giving us

04:20a good head start lots of design decisions go a part of this process my house is like um a lot

04:26different than what i'm envisioning of what i like now we designed the whole thing as a family and that

04:31was a long process everybody had an input different colors different styles i almost feel like an

04:38inspiration tour of your house might be might be smart we don't have to go far it's just starting

04:42terrain so perfect timing good luck yes it's very good luck let's get off the lock let's get it

04:47i love my job but especially on days like today where i have a very short commute to work

05:00i'm actually taking a bike ride to meet debbie and brian at their current house which is just

05:05right up the street for me hey hey hey hello how are you doing neighbors what do you got going on

05:14there this is molly oh my gosh you guys okay this is like the biggest house in the neighborhood i

05:20definitely see why you want to downsize because this is a lot of house to maintain it is the objective

05:25today is figuring out how to downsize and i really want to learn more about their style by

05:31figuring out what they don't like in the current house they live in this 6 700 square foot home is

05:36going to have a lot to look at for inspiration this is a very defined look it does have like a

05:42mediterranean design the house is beautiful don't get me wrong but i would like to do contemporary

05:47streamlined no more arches white oh wow yes what about the courtyard style garages i'd like to have

05:55probably a side entry instead of having this massive round you could fit 20 cars in this

06:03driveway yes so i mean you're completely doing a different style wait till you see the inside

06:08come on in what oh my goodness welcome to our home wow first of all i do notice you've got a lot of

06:19color going on in here orange is my favorite color but i think it's dark when we move i'd like it to be

06:25a clean slate almost white oh nice okay so that i can do more decor rather than walls okay so we

06:33can do the color where it's not so permanent you can change it out through the year yes exactly oh my

06:37gosh this kitchen you guys i'm noticing two different kind of countertops the two-tone cabinetry

06:43i want to change it up ah so what would you do different the countertops are going to be the same

06:48i'm not going to do a two-tone and then i would like to have white cabinets okay wait a minute so she

06:53wants white house white cabinets white walls are you a different person than you were 13 years ago

06:59yes i am okay so the goal is to downsize you guys have two islands here do you need them both

07:07um kind of seating for all our family and storage is very important to us correct okay

07:13this is our room whoa this room is huge i love the lake view we do too i see the arches

07:22kind of repeating itself throughout the hallway and then coming into this room don't like the arches

07:28done with that so i'd like streamline okay there's a lot of furniture in here you've got sitting area

07:33are we downsizing this space or are you bringing all this furniture to the new house

07:37uh i'm not sure yet okay what about this bathroom i want to see what's going on in there

07:42whoa okay looks like you have a huge walk-in shower soaking tub are we downsizing this thing

07:51um we like the double shower as far as the soaking tub i'm not sure look how much space this thing takes

07:57um so that's i mean if you're trying to downsize we're trying to downsize and and this is really

08:03big we don't use it much so i'm not sure that we need that in our new bathroom all right i would

08:08love to see the other living areas we'll show you this is where mom and dad lived with us well this is

08:15a whole nother house oh yes oh my gosh and it's so funny how everything's all connected but this does

08:21feel so different it's different there's a lot going on in debbie and brian's current house they have

08:25like five different kind of tiles in the house and the new house what are we thinking for flooring

08:29i'm thinking one style throughout bedrooms throughout the main living areas but tile in the

08:35bathrooms perfect it's really a hodgepodge of many different styles under one roof i don't like the

08:40wood grain cabinets i don't like knobs like that i was in a friend's house and i walked by with my

08:45cargo shorts on catch it and i split their door right in half okay they want this new house to have

08:51cohesiveness and be a little bit lighter and brighter there is one other thing we'd like to show you

08:55we do have another building a toy box toy box for my toys and we'd like to do something like this

09:04at the new project oh my goodness okay that's massive we actually have a 1200 square foot apartment

09:12above and then the garage itself is 1100 square feet and it's not quite big enough dare i say can we

09:18open this door and see what's in there absolutely okay wow holy moly okay wow

09:31holy moly we'd like to house the travel trailer also with the two boats oh wow so you would need

09:40more space then a little bit a little bit more taking it from about 1100 square feet up to about

09:441700 square feet we design homes that are 1700 square feet i don't see where the downsizing part

09:51is coming in it's gonna be a challenge i'm wondering how we can keep everything in budget

09:55oh we'll have to figure that out hopefully seeing another house today will inspire more ideas on how

10:00to downsize nice so it is like one big open space i mean this house is 2800 square feet and that's what

10:07your new house will be look at this island you guys check this out wow what you're used to having

10:14two islands so maybe we can fit everything you need into one and save floor space definitely yes

10:20but um there's no nook uh-huh there's i would like a little nook when our grandchildren come over

10:27we like to sit as a family but then sometimes the dining room is too big so you really could have

10:32two dining areas yeah i'm wondering where are we gonna start saving the square footage take a little

10:38bit of square footage out of the bedroom maybe and then i can have my little nook we should go figure

10:42out how small we're going with these rooms check out this main suite your current bedroom you almost

10:47have like a living room inside of your room are we thinking that we can compromise some of the square

10:53footage i think so okay that is going to save us some square footage so brian are you going to need a

11:00closet in your office space because that is another way to shave off some square footage

11:04no you don't need it perfect and then we have to do a craft room that's separate if you're not going

11:09to need to have a bed and all this other furniture in there and we can save some space this size room

11:13is good even could be a little smaller cool so i mean i feel like i understand where we're going to

11:17try to save square footage yes um and we'll figure out this toy box i am good at what i do but i'm

11:23going to have to be honest brian and i have a lot of work to do to make sure that we come up with

11:29the perfect floor plan that now includes a toy box while downsizing while keeping things in budget

11:34so i have a long night ahead of me

11:36brian and debbie it seems like every time we meet it's raining i mean what's up with that

11:48right it's good luck it is good luck so i have to say putting the puzzle piece of this dream home

11:53together was a challenge because you don't want to sacrifice your comforts that you have in your

11:57current home so i feel like we accommodated that with this floor plan i'm just hoping that it's

12:01going to flow really nicely and you're going to be happy with it yep i hope so too all right so

12:06the front facade of this house first of all it's nice and wide and because you have the side entry

12:12garage it's like the house can really be a showcase it definitely has more of a clean aesthetics

12:17got that contemporary flair right yes and that's what i want i love those windows we gave you a

12:22symmetrical front porch you can have seating on both sides because we know that you guys love being

12:26outside yes all right so stepping into your house and you've got 12 foot ceilings so that

12:30even though we're downsizing it still has like a grandness to it when you walk in yes you guys like

12:35to entertain you're going to be closer to family now so in the middle you guys have that big open

12:39concept great room living area and the kitchen and the breakfast nook you know what else i think is

12:44super unique over the island we gave you a tray ceiling to really define the center of that kitchen

12:49oh nice it's like a spotlight yes right yeah and speaking of spotlights we gave you those solar tubes

12:56in the great room so you can have that beautiful natural light not just from the windows but also

13:01from up above nice i love it yeah so you have a really nice sized formal dining room so when you're

13:07hosting the holidays we can all fit and then for you you've got the den but what's nice is when the

13:13doors are open you can feel like you're part of the party right honey absolutely you can only work

13:17in there that's right so your main suite is a nice size room you've got a beautiful walk-in shower with

13:24dual shower heads there we go from your room you have those french doors to enjoy the back lanai

13:30as well as the french doors off the great room beautiful on the other side of the house are those

13:35guest rooms plus you have that bathroom in the middle so those guest rooms can share that bathroom

13:39you also wanted a craft room tucked in a nice private corner of the house so you can get

13:44creative back there that's awesome i actually like the way that i'm way in the back here you really

13:49want to be tucked away so debbie i feel like this is your toy box of the house yes and you've got your

13:56own toy box i do let's check it out let's look at it i'm excited this is pretty massive i mean it's

14:01just shy of 2 000 square feet we gave you super tall garage doors for your toys kind of looks like a

14:07second house instead of a garage right yes yes we're excited about it hey yep and we kept it in

14:14your budget of 925 000 we are so excited for you and i think it's fitting that uh the rain is about

14:20to stop the sun is coming out and it's time to start your dream home yeah we can't wait to get started

14:27this is exciting today is a brand new beginning for brian and debbie it's groundbreaking day or as i like

14:40to call it land demo

14:42we have cleared the lot for the main house and we're working on brian's toy box right now

14:55off to a great start it's day one let's get it

14:58with the lot scraped and footers dug yesterday we're set up for success today to pour them

15:08with two structures going up simultaneously it's crucial we maintain double time pace throughout

15:15this build so we can stay on schedule

15:16i have to say brian and debbie it's looking a little bit different in here than the last time

15:31you're really getting everything prepped to get the house on the market yeah absolutely are

15:36is it kind of surreal kicking in it is i'm okay right now but i'm i'm sure i'm gonna cry about it

15:41oh it's a new beginning but you had some great memories here we did well i'm excited to get

15:48moving forward with design decisions the inspiration tours i feel like everything you were loving was

15:53like white white cabinets like white and bright which is so different than what you're in now so

15:59it's like your fresh start right when we were building the house that we're in now we had three

16:04different families involved three different decision makers one of the things i'm excited about

16:09in doing this project is that it's just debbie and me it's funny when you say the color white

16:14there's still choices because there's multiple different shades right there is so let's start

16:19with some cabinetry if you notice side by side this one i do feel like it's a little softer because

16:25it's got a little gray undertone this is more bright white yes i like this one because i do want

16:31a white crisp kitchen you good with that no i'm good i'm good with that but you want all white cabinets

16:38the island everything yeah i was thinking that that might be a little too much white

16:45just gonna kind of all bleed into one another what would you think about different colored island

16:54oh i don't know about that i don't want color

17:01what would you think about different colored island i don't want color i know you don't but

17:09it adds interest it breaks it up oh i love the sound effects i feel like what she doesn't say

17:16tells me all i need to know i can't imagine doing all white i just don't want everything to blend in

17:23that's my concern i do have a couple more samples in here you want to just kind of see if it's

17:27something you're open to because all right so let's just lay these out

17:31any of them would possibly work i don't want to do the dark like that again you know i have black

17:39that looks so much this really does look similar to look yeah yeah all right we've already done that

17:44in the old house you're out of here and this is the back so kind of what we have okay um this is

17:52your current kitchen here yes all right we're gonna do something different you do not like blue

17:58that one's out too and so now there's two i think that if i do the green i feel like i have to kind

18:07of match something that matches green so i think the uh it's a green is out what do you think no i

18:13like the gray okay i do i think we'll do the gray so it's neutral but it's still not an all white

18:18kitchen right right i think this is a good palette to work with and it's not going to marry you to like

18:23a certain color color yeah i'm curious is there anywhere else that you want like a pop of color

18:29well well the interior doors

18:34what are you thinking kind of like a deep gray i was thinking and we went with the gray

18:40okay i love that all of a sudden you're not trying to match it with the island color you want to go a

18:46little bit darker yes oh that's nice i think i like that one yeah it's a shade darker but it's

18:52still complimentary yeah what do you think honey i like it yes do we want to do a pop of color on

18:58your front door i think it's a great idea you know my favorite color orange orange it just makes me

19:04happy i love that there's emotion tied to that color it's the entryway to your new house your new

19:10chapter so we need to get it right i feel like we did really good today though we'll be seeing you

19:14guys in a couple weeks and you can kind of get a little sneak peek of the progress that we've made

19:18so nice i'm excited

19:19so we just placed the last block on the main house and we still have a little bit of sunlight

19:30left so uh we're not going to waste any of it we're going to finish the second half of the toy box

19:35right now brian has a ton of toys so brian needs a massive toy box and no i'm not referring to

19:42myself in the third person so this garage door opening is 14 feet for all of brian's tall toys

19:49all right so before we can even start building the second level of the toy box we have to build all

19:55the scaffolding to get up there here hang on all right all right all right well almost ready for

20:02this header i know let's get these uh headers up and uh we're pretty much done yeah we're ready to set

20:06the pre-cast

20:07all right he needs to turn it a little bit a little bit lower we're almost there

20:14one down two to go

20:16this way i'm clear

20:20uh-oh hold up there you go i'm good right there

20:24now that we've laid all the block on both structures we can get the trusses in place

20:28and uh it's a good thing because they're already in place

20:31thanks for being patient my friends

20:34shake it brian shake it okay there is so much going on right now i feel like

20:47i don't want to get in the way but we do need a little bit of a blank canvas to figure out this

20:51paint color today we're pretty much at the halfway point so i feel like we definitely need to select

20:56the interior flooring for this house and the last thing is going to be uh this pop of color on the

21:01entryway so i have four samples today i feel like we need to paint this so they can see what it's

21:06actually going to look like this is why you pick exterior paint outside because once you actually

21:12let this dry you know what i think it's going to soften up a bit i'm not mad at that all about

21:17presentation i'm going to make sure my sample looks the best what is this one oh spicy yeah baby

21:22you are spicy i'm gonna tell you the head this one is actually really close to what they have

21:26inside their house right now it's like that burnt orange kind of sunset

21:30hello hello oh and molly's here welcome to your future home oh wow

21:39when i first walked up and they were standing there and i looked at those colors i thought whoa

21:45they were really bright we figure like let's just visualize this as being that front door right

21:50yes what's speaking to you oh i don't know if she got this right what is that phase

21:57this isn't what i had in my mind

22:00what's speaking to you oh i don't know if she got this right

22:09not these two they're too orangey what about these two these actually do have like a darker undertone

22:19this is actually to me this is the color you have inside yeah i don't i don't want that one

22:23it's a little dark well that only is one other one i was gonna say right we're down to one

22:28the last one that's remaining i do i like the middle one the middle one this one yeah

22:33that's orange when they dry they look better it's not too bright but it's not too dark all right so

22:41that's our winner right there and i think it's gonna look great all right i do too i did bring some

22:47flooring samples from the front door to the floor to the floor let's check it out that works

22:52come here we need your help come on molly we gotta make sure which one molly's most comfortable on

22:58they're scratch resistant girls i'm saying you can lay on all of them you pretty much want to keep

23:02the floors like the same throughout all the main areas right yes okay i feel like these three options

23:07would work with what we have selected so far anything jumping out uh the knots on that one you like it

23:14no oh not not it's too noticeable even though it's got the gray tones in it that pick up the

23:21island i think the gray in the island is enough okay oh you see that smile she gave you brian hey she's

23:26like look i like this one because i think it's light and the knots they're kind of subtle i think

23:33it would be a great choice yeah i really do wait a minute should we let molly test it out molly come

23:38here which one do you want to lay on one two or three there we go there we go she's comfortable

23:45it's been decided she already looks like she's home i love this i feel like you guys were making

23:51so much progress so we've got our flooring we've got our entryway we got hvac going on i think i saw

23:56plumbers electricians by next week we're gonna be closing up the walls with drywall this is gonna

24:00really start taking shape which means no more peeking at the house hey don't be sending molly here as a

24:05five i'm excited okay you ready molly come on let's go take your face oh look at her tail wagon

24:11today i feel like we accomplished a lot i mean we got the flooring we've got the door color we still

24:16don't have an idea yet for this special project so i've been thinking about something that i think

24:21would be perfect for them what why do i always have to follow you somewhere so we already know

24:27how much brian and debbie love lake life in our neighborhood right my concern is when they move

24:33out here to plant city they're gonna feel landlocked we could do a man-made pond right here

24:39with a fountain right in the middle you want to do what i want to give them waterfront property out

24:44here that would require permit drainage easement i think and we're at the halfway point time wise i

24:51don't know if that's even realistic and honestly i don't want to commit them to that because i have

24:56no idea what their plans are for the rest of this property that's something that's so permanent

25:00i like the idea of something with water i definitely think you're on the right track

25:05okay so maybe we do something inside i want this special project to like beautify the house but not

25:11be a headache for brian and debbie have you seen like those interior fountains where you can almost

25:15make it flush with the wall and it'll have like that water trickling effect a waterfall wall

25:20almost like a backdrop of a waterfall what if it's not actual water what if it's like a mural

25:25like a painting of the lake i don't hate that idea what about a water bed what if we did a bidet

25:34that's like a water feature

25:35i'm done with you

25:41um okay we both said um meaning we have no idea what we're doing if none of these work

25:48can i start digging my pond all right i feel confident in the next couple days we're going

25:52to figure out this special project because we have to you can go dig out there anytime you want

25:56for fun all right i feel like i'm digging myself in a hole okay you are

25:58brian and debbie want a much brighter house this time around so we're installing solar tubes to give

26:07them even more natural light all right so we've got the dome set up on the roof side on our solar tube

26:13it's going to bring all this sunlight from the outside inside all right you guys ready to connect this

26:18all right i'm coming down

26:20solar tubes are a great inexpensive way to add natural light to a home

26:31and they're energy efficient hey brian yeah i can promise you one thing what this install is going

26:37to be very enlightening

26:38let's there be light natural light

26:44oh what a day actually what a week it's been a little bit crazy we have so many projects going

26:55on simultaneously a couple of them have had more hurdles than i would like a couple yeah i know more

27:00than a couple it's all good this is why we moved here can you believe that brian and debbie want to

27:06leave this they want to be closer to family they're downsizing that house is the biggest house in this

27:11neighborhood and they don't need all that space we still have no idea what we're doing for a special

27:15project i just feel like i would love to duplicate this piece of serenity even though there are new

27:19properties not on the lake does that make sense i know they currently have a fire pit they're gonna

27:24miss that too what if we did a fire element with like a water accent have you ever seen those fire

27:31bowls fire in the middle and the water kind of trickles down the side yeah so why don't we bring

27:36both of those to plant city and remind them of their old neighborhood i do think they would

27:40appreciate that the birds are telling us yes the bird the birds are giving us two wings up

27:46we're gonna put some garage doors in it's a unique design we have three garage doors on the main house

28:00and on this detached garage we have four garage doors and they're huge what's cool about it is a

28:06drive-through straight through so when you bring your truck and your boat through you don't even have

28:11to put a reverse on so you keep on going so every panel that we put up has two hurricane bars for a wind

28:20resistance of 180 miles an hour that keeps the door from fluctuating when the hurricane comes and the wind

28:25hits it yep this is a typical height of a regular garage door now we got to add another whole door

28:36on top of this one three more to go

28:44i used to work at a golf course back in the day raking sand traps so i have plenty of practice

28:55doing this used to get so mad after i rake it somebody puts their footprint in it

28:59today we are transforming debbie and brian's backyard and uh adding a little water and fire element

29:07hey you remember all the good memories we had around my fire pit back in the old neighborhood

29:12it was some good times for sure we had some long nights some good times

29:15so david is an outdoor living specialist and old neighbor of mine when i wanted to find a fire pit

29:22slash fountain i knew he was the guy to call let's make it happen yeah most times people either want

29:27a fire pit or a fountain in this case we wanted both so it's definitely a custom piece so once we get

29:33centered here we're gonna go down about 11 inches okay sink that base in there and then once that's

29:37gonna be level with the ground and then we're gonna surround with mexican beach pebble and then some more

29:40the salt and pepper rock this is gonna look good it's gonna look killer they unloading the truck right now

29:45yes sir all right let's finish raking this out

29:47what are those zen gardens you rake that's what this feels like

29:50no hey no no no stop stop stop stop stop no do not go any further

29:58wait wait no no no no no stop stop stop stop stop right no no

30:02you can't go that way this is the drain field

30:05hey so we gotta go back it up and then take it this way

30:08my bad i should have told you the drain field is part of the septic system for the main house

30:17and uh it's made up of a lot of intricate pipes that are very fragile and you cannot drive heavy

30:23equipment over it dang this is big i can't wait to see this that looks good all right so this is our

30:30basin right yes we're burying this all the way flush with the ground correct how many shovels do you

30:34got like a glove that's starting to look like a special project nice work brian

30:43now that the cabinets are in we have all the countertops going in now what now what are you

30:56gonna could we have got a skinnier board for the front door we don't have any more boys no

31:01we have no time oh my gosh all right oh oh man all of the light fixtures are getting installed the

31:09floor is getting finished and we have 20 truckloads of dirt here he comes right now right on time ray ray

31:16we got three fans on the lanai yep non-stop breeze back here hey i didn't realize how low this was

31:25how high do we need to bring it he wants it all the way so there's no step so straight out to the

31:31he wants the grass the same height as the port it's gonna be a lot keep it coming

31:37mika where's the front door hello are you kidding me oh there there it is there it is come on now

31:52come on sorry it just it just blended right in follow the pop of color oh man furnishing the house i think

31:58that's what it's gonna sound super cliche but that is what makes the house a home am i supposed to jump

32:03over that hey i don't know where this goes okay that's the entryway table put it against that wall

32:08all right thank you oh look at that all right brian and debbie almost time to come home this house

32:18really speaks to a true modern aesthetic from the statement lighting to the colors the fine lines

32:23everything is like clean and sleek we know debbie likes orange so you know we have some orange accents

32:29going in this house let's do it oh and hey it matches the front door ah yes orange you glad this

32:35chair isn't white uh yeah i need some throw pillows though i need some artwork it feels like you are

33:19special project from here that's actually perfect i love how crafting supplies can also be deployed

33:25debbie likes to craft i don't know what she's making in here but she's going to create and i'm

33:29all about that no one's going to know debbie's even in this room bye brian

33:34i wish we could sit down and enjoy this right now but we still have so much to do

33:41the good news is we'll probably be here when the sun goes down so we can actually see the fire

34:18probably not only bittersweet for brian and debbie because they have lived in their existing home on

34:22the lake for 14 years but also we're losing really cool neighbors can we believe it can you believe it

34:29honey the day's here i know i'm so excited they're definitely going to be missed yeah this looks amazing

34:35even though it's much smaller than their existing home it still feels really grand i can't wait for

34:40brian and debbie to see their dream home i mean their old house was everyone else's dreams kind of

34:46together a new beginning yes it is it's a new season of life we've been for 17 years with other people

34:52less is definitely more oh yeah i think that this house is going to be perfect for them and actually

34:57they're going to be getting here any minute so we better head out all right look at this i'm gonna go

36:23this is awesome awesome i love it now are you guys gonna be okay with only one island i think

36:30one is gonna be plenty good i love the way this pops it's pretty very pretty wow the coffee bar

36:37he makes my coffee every morning oh i do brian take notes you know what i love most about this

36:42kitchen the tray detail and the ceiling makes it feel even bigger and uh gives a little extra

36:47character yes it absolutely does and i love these lights yeah the lights are awesome i feel like

36:53there's statement lighting throughout this entire house and it really does speak true to like wanting

36:57to go a little bit more modern with this design yes one of my favorite light fixtures is and the

37:03formal dining ah nice beautiful i love it that is formal dining at its finest this is a really big

37:13dining room it is yes and i wanted it to be big so we could fit our family oh yeah holidays we already

37:19know that you need a home office but then we also know that you like to craft whose do we want to

37:23store first uh brian's yeah how about mine brian yes sir after you home office wow

37:31oh look at this i love the fact that you guys went with these painted doors this is a really cool

37:38way to like add design and it's not super expensive it looks really good thank you what do you say

37:43today we check out debbie's space wow this is awesome sewing machine you're ready to go i love it

37:54i'm so excited about this i no longer have to craft in a bedroom i have my own room you can make a mess

38:00in here and then you can just close this door and no one will even know it's behind you that's right

38:05plus we know you're still going to be hosting family and guests so shall we go see where the

38:09guests are going to be hanging out yeah all right let's go check it out awesome

38:13oh wow and the floor plan makes sense because this is kind of tucked away from the other spaces so a

38:23guest anytime they're staying you want them to feel like they kind of have their own privacy

38:26they may not want to leave um yeah that could be a problem yes all right hey enough about the

38:33temporary guests uh-oh let's see where the permanent guests will be residing absolutely

38:38i'm ready let's head to the main suite all right other side of the house

38:42wow look at this oh my gosh look at the chandelier

38:50wow i've never had a chandelier in the bathroom oh you deserve it

38:55beautiful it's fancy yes so you got the double vanity a ton of storage

39:00and then keeping the painted doors throughout it's like every room kind of ties together

39:04yes i like it very nice it gets better though shall we check out the main bedroom let's see it

39:10oh this is nice do you like the size of this because i do your bedroom right now has a lot

39:16of space because you have that whole seating area yes even though this is smaller you still can have

39:20that i know this is awesome oh yes are you ready to see your new water view water view yes

39:50isn't that fun we know that it's going to be different not living on the lake

39:55this was a way to give you that water and fire element all in one i love the surprise i can start

40:02the fire with a flick of a match and then the water feature just that sound and hearing that's very

40:07soothing the only thing that draws my attention more than this nice gathering area the biggest toy

40:13box in tampa all right brian the moment you've been waiting for right i think you're going to need

40:18more toys i really do sorry no sorry oh here we go here we go let's do it oh wow look at this

40:25oh look at this wow he's like a little kid again i'm telling you right he's already brainstorming

40:33how he's going to fill this thing up camper's going to go on this little bit larger side bay

40:37boat in the middle and then my smaller boat over here i'm ready to get to work yeah we're definitely

40:42going to miss you guys in the neighborhood but we know you're closer to family now

40:45and even though you downsize i mean this house is right around 2 800 square feet but it still has

40:51four bedrooms two and a half bathrooms plus your office and your craft rooms we kept it in your

40:56budget of 925 000 that's beautiful you guys did a great job thank you so much we're excited for our

41:02new adventure our new season in life and thank you for letting us be a part of it see you guys later

41:07it feels really good to see space that we designed and it's our space it's going to be a happy place

41:14it's going to be happy memories and it's just going to be so joyful for us to make new memories with our

41:20family and friends in this house i'm very excited about starting a life here
