00:00Well, thank you very much, everybody.
00:04We have an extremely respected man in the
00:08Oval Office today and a friend of mine for a
00:10long time, a very good friend of mine.
00:12And I'm very proud of the job he's done.
00:16What he's done is incredible in terms of
00:18human rights and everything else.
00:20And he's the crown prince, the future king.
00:25And I just want to pay my greatest respect to
00:29your father, King, who is an amazing man.
00:32I met him early on.
00:34He greeted me at the airport at an age that was
00:36pretty high up there.
00:37And it was about 117 degrees.
00:39And he was standing on the red carpet as I came
00:41out of the plane.
00:43And he's amazing.
00:46And when I met his brilliant son, who was at
00:49the Oval Office shortly thereafter, you came in
00:53representing the country.
00:54And I called the father.
00:55I said, this guy is fantastic.
00:58And I don't know if that helped you or hurt you.
01:00But obviously, it couldn't have hurt too much.
01:02Because here you are, right?
01:04But we had a great meeting.
01:06And the office has changed quite a bit.
01:09And we inherited a mess.
01:11You actually told me you thought the country was in
01:13big trouble.
01:14I'm not going to use the exact word that you use.
01:16I refuse to say that you thought our country was
01:19dead a year and a half, two years ago.
01:22But a country was in trouble.
01:23And now we have the hottest country in the world.
01:25You said that also.
01:27And we do.
01:27We have the United States is right now the hottest
01:30country in the world.
01:31And between the tariffs and the election, November
01:355th election, we've done things that nobody can
01:39believe.
01:40Twenty-one trillion dollars will be the amount invested
01:44in the United States or committed to invest in one
01:48year.
01:49So I'm here nine months.
01:50We're up to almost 18 trillion dollars.
01:54Biden, as an example, the Biden administration, if you
01:56call it that, it's not to me.
01:58It was the Biden lack of administration.
02:02They were less than one trillion for four years.
02:05We're going to be 21 trillion for one year.
02:09I think that's hard to believe.
02:12The biggest in history was a certain country, 3 trillion.
02:17We're going to be 21 trillion.
02:18On top of that, prices are coming down.
02:20We inherited a mess with high prices, the worst
02:24inflation in the history of our country.
02:26We had inflation that was a single full four years, the
02:29worst inflation in the history of the United States, gas
02:33prices through the roof.
02:35And that's after destroying our petroleum reserve, which
02:39was meant for wars and big emergencies, not to try and
02:42win an election.
02:44They opened up the reserve so that people get three
02:47dollars, three dollars less in gasoline.
02:49And it didn't work.
02:50They got about three cents less because as big as those
02:53reserves are, they're peanuts when you're talking about
02:56that kind of traffic.
02:58And we're rebuilding the reserves.
03:00We're doing all of this and we've done a job.
03:03We're also bringing down prices very substantially and
03:05we've already brought them down very, very
03:07substantially.
03:08Gasoline is way down.
03:10I think you'll be seeing two dollar gasoline.
03:12But we're now at 250, 245.
03:15Some are lower than that.
03:17It was 450, $5, $6, 350, 375 under by all different
03:23numbers, but way high.
03:24And we have energy way down.
03:27But the biggest thing to me, because I know what it
03:30means in jobs, is the fact that we're at over 17
03:34trillion dollars, Scott, and we expect to be around 20,
03:3821 trillion dollars in one year.
03:40And that's many times bigger than in history.
03:43The highest number was $3 trillion.
03:47And we're going to be at 21 trillion.
03:48That means new plants, new AI, new auto plants.
03:52We have auto plants coming in from Canada, from Mexico,
03:55from Germany, from Japan.
03:58Toyota just agreed to invest $10 billion on new auto
04:01plants, all American workers.
04:05We've never been in a position like this.
04:07You can go back to the beginning.
04:10Our country has never been in a position like this.
04:13And it really is because of the fact that we use
04:16tariffs to bring all this money in.
04:19And you're going to see the results in a year when
04:20these plants start to open up.
04:22We have more plants under construction now than at
04:25any time in the history of our country.
04:27And these are big plants.
04:28These are the biggest plants anywhere in the world.
04:31And I want to thank you because you've agreed to
04:32invest $600 billion into the United States.
04:36And because he's my friend, he might make it a
04:38trillion, but I'm going to have to work on them.
04:41But it's 600, we can count on 600 billion, but that
04:46number could go up a little bit higher.
04:48Yes, sir.
04:49I don't know.
04:49We'll see.
04:50But we appreciate it very much.
04:53So Saudi is going to be investing at least $600
04:56billion, and that means investments in plants, in
04:59companies, money on Wall Street.
05:02And what it really means for everybody that really
05:06counts is jobs, a lot of jobs.
05:08We have a lot of jobs.
05:10So I just want to thank you.
05:11We've been really good friends for a long period
05:13of time.
05:13We've always been on the same side of every issue.
05:17I think we've done a great job in wiping out the
05:20nuclear capacity of Iran.
05:23Nobody else could have done that.
05:25No other President would have done it.
05:27We had the pilots in the Oval Office right here.
05:29We were celebrating a very successful attack.
05:32So I had them in with that beautiful B-2 bomber that's
05:35over there, and they said, sir, for 22 years, we
05:40practiced this attack.
05:42Our predecessors, these were very young guys.
05:45So 22 years, they said our predecessors and us
05:48practice the attack on Iran.
05:52But no President ever gave us the go ahead.
05:55Three times a year, they went out and they
05:57practiced the attack.
05:59Nobody let us do it until you came along.
06:01And I let them do it because it was the right
06:02thing to do.
06:03You can't have a nuclear Iran.
06:05And so we put you in a very good position.
06:07But I just want to say it's an honor to be your
06:09friend, and it's an honor that you're here.
06:12And if you'd like to say a few words, but thank you
06:14very much.
06:15The President Biden, thank you, Mr. President.
06:17This relation has been a relation for about nine
06:20decades, and we've been working together for a
06:23long time.
06:24But today, it's a very important time in our
06:28history because there is also a lot of things
06:30that we're working on in the future.
06:32We believe in the future of the United States of
06:34America.
